I’m using Duolingo which is very fun and motivating, but it just doesn’t provide enough explanations and examples. Now that I have Ella Verbs I can learn and practice the verbs and tenses I’m struggling with on Duolingo. Then when I go back it makes much more sense.
This app is sooooo user friendly and fun to use. I enjoy doing the tests and don’t allow myself to move on to the next level until I get 100% correct answers. It’s so well organized and I’m learning to internalize the verbs in a very logical order. I love the progress I’ve made already!
It’s a great app and I can def see myself paying for the pro version. But when there are one time payment alternatives I don’t see why I’d pay $40+ for a year subscription (or the $10/month!).
This app is so simple and incredibly useful. Worth every penny! Other apps don’t focus enough on the conjugating component so I couldn’t appreciate it more!
Simple, repetitive, and easy to use. Drilling verbs and tenses into your head is made easy with this app, and the creators are great people with good ideals. This is the kind of app and community I support.
I typically don’t leave reviews for ios apps. However, given the incredible quality of this app, I bend the rules. I have been learning spanish for the past three years. I discovered ella verbs two years ago. It without a doubt is the best spanish learning tool in my arsenal. The developers are a husband and wife, and are very communicative. Unlike almost all other software developers, they actively add features and improvements to the app. For the first time, a subscription based model makes sense as continue to receive value from the developers. If you are willing to work and truly want to learn the conjugations pay the money, and get the app. You won’t regret it!
I’ve tried all the apps/sites/podcasts I could find for learning spanish and this has by far been the best. I’ve been struggling with verba for a while now and the lessons are short and sweet and easy to digest and the practice and tests are just what I need to follow them up. This has been a game changer for my spanish development. Duolingo is good just for vocab, this app is necessary to actually be able to learn how to speak (aka form sentences). I’m so happy to have found it, I already subscribed to the full version bc the price was so reasonable and so worth it.
Guys, I just moved to Mexico for work and I’m a self-taught Spanish learner. This app is AMAZING! Verbs are so crucial in my day-to-day life. The way you’ve broken everything down into easily digestible little packages, the separation of irregular verbs from regular ones, stem changes, even the clean interface without ads and garish colours. You’ve put so much effort into something SO useful. Un mil de gracias!!
so far this app is in my top 3 go to apps in learning spanish, But it has lots of potential, like audio and maybe flashcards this can be the all in 1 spanish learning app.
I have been learning Spanish it seems for an eternity and have probably tried every course and app out there. A friend, who is a beginner, told me about this app. I didn’t subscribe at first, but then I noticed how much more confident she was in chatting in Spanish and she was adamant it was this app, so I subscribed. It is a superb learning app for verb conjugation, and for review. Also, the response to enquires is very prompt.
