Hola! We are an Irish couple (Jane and Brian) living in Spain and learning Spanish. We started Ella Verbs as we were looking for a way to improve our Spanish verbs and make the jump from intermediate to advanced speakers. We tried many ways to improve our Spanish grammar (books, apps, tutors – you name it, we tried it!), but never found the one that clicked. So we built it!
We aren’t your typical Spanish flashcards or verb trainer app. Our philosophy is “learn, quiz, repeat”. We teach you, then quiz you and then surface content again when you need it most. It’s been proven that quizzing helps with concentration, identifying gaps in knowledge and long term retention (Roediger & Karpicke, 2006). You’ll enjoy our personalised Smart Quizzes to help you improve your Spanish conjugation faster!
Because it's just the two of us, we personally read and respond to every feedback email and review. So if you have an idea, issue, question or whatever, please get in touch! We really want and listen to your feedback, and regularly release new features and improve existing ones (to date we've released 30+ updates per year!). Just started. I am no beginner and could easily go shortcut through the levels and see what is still weak. Clean layout, clear and to the point explanations, well organized, really helpful. Well done!!

A great help for learning Spanish!
I never pay for (language learning) apps so the fact that I was more than willing to pay for Ella Verbs probably says enough. After downloading the app, it actually has become fun to practice conjugations and because of that, my Spanish skills have improved immensely. I can’t recommend it enough!
The best app I ever payed for!
What a great app! I try to learn spanish, and being over 65 years of age my memorie is not that good anymore🙁. With this app I can go back over and over again, and practice and practice again. Thanks a lot!

Great app to practice verbs!!
Very handy, great app! Two suggestions for improvement: 1. Being able to add verbs to your own list whilst taking quizzes. In the quizzes new verbs appeared, and I wanted to add them immediately to my list to practice later, now that is not possible. 2. When in my own list, I would like to practice for example just preterito or imperfecto, now the only option is to practice all forms at once. But like I said, great app! And I recommend it for anyone who wants to practice Spanish verb tenses.

Best app for learning Spanish!
There is no better app for learning Spanish to me. It fully focusses on the verbs and really makes sure to teach you all the difference, when to and how to use them in the proper conjugation. It all feels like a game! Thanks for the fun :)
