I have found the compact version to be very good, so assume that this unabridged dictionary will be even better, presumably covering a wider range of vocabulary.

Excellent Translation Tool
I purchased this with some trepidation as the dictionary that I had been using had not been updated for some time and I was getting messages that it would not run properly. This one has been an absolute boon as it permits entries to be in either language and seeing the word entered used as an example in a variety of contextual phrases is an inspired idea. It has been of immeasurable help to me in translations.
Very useful
The examples of usage are comprehensive and quite up-to-date. It will need updating every couple of years to keep it in touch with the times. Well worth the money, though.

Very pleased with the quality of content
Packed with great options...but
My focus is on pronunciation and the playbacks are important to me - but whenever I select 'European Spanish Male' voice and 'Andalusian' phonetics it reverts to default (usually female enunciating in central/northern) Otherwise the depth of translations work well from basic to advanced
Unabridged dictionary
Hooray, I am pleased it's been fixed. Thank you. I have to say I'm still disappointed because my verbs in the favourites are vanished, which I was not happy because there were lots on the list in an alphabetical order. On the other hand, I'm pleased I can accessed on the verb conjugations from the verb infinitives, which is good so I can identify which tense to use. Gracías por su ayuda, estoy muy agradecido por su ayuda en la resolución de este problema. (Thank you for your help, I am very grateful for your help in resolving this problem) Overall it is still an excellent dictionary which I like to use.

This is the best Spanish-English dictionary you can buy, without a doubt!! I've spent lots of money and tried out most of the others and none come even close to this. Yes it's expensive, but you defiantly get what you pay for. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
