Fails to update online logbook

Themenace60 on

Some mornings at the completion of a workout, the upload wheel starts spinning and takes longer than usual then I check the logbook and the workout has not been recorded. My internet connection is perfect and has no issues (I’m watching a live stream on another device) This has been going on for a long time and from the time of day it occurs I wonder if some maintenance operation is happening up on the servers.

Fails to connect to Polar H10 automatically after latest update

My HRM popped up without any issues for every workout for the past year or longer. Now, every time I connect the app to the monitor, I need to manually connect the HRM. There’s no pop-up asking to remember the decision for future workouts either.

No issues for me

Amazing and fun app Can’t see what all the hate it about - I think it’s well made and performs for me without issues on iPhone

Follow the steps and it works every time, syncs with Strava too.

Marcus T2 on

Wow, really surprised by the reviews. This app works well with the Concept ergo’s, offers good information and data and syncs quickly with Strava. I use it every time whether at home or at the rowing club. Yes I’ve had data issues in the past, though have a standard process that now works every time. My process to success is: Connect HR to ergo head unit via on screen connection. Connect App to ergo via App connection. Create workout via App workout tab and press ready. Workout will show on head unit and App. Do workout. At end of workout press App screen to bring up save and press save. Press logbook at bottom of App screen to view workout ( and previous workouts). Workout will sync with Strava once saved and data that comes across reports in splits per 500m as per normal concept measurements. I watch movies on my phone while ergoing and just flick back to the App to save. Super easy.

Good and bad

Have had no trouble connecting to rower, and works as intended. Would like to see a recovery option so you could put in recovery heart rate and then see how long after completion of row to reach target heart rate

Good

Just did an hour of intervals. App failed to save workout. Awesome.

Fails to record sometimes.

In a stats driven sport, this fails too often. A few good functions and gimmicks but the connectivity, data sharing and sync-ability is quite poor. The challenges are quite fun. Could do with an overhaul.

The worst

peedee1402 on

I hate to say it because the Erg itself is premium, it this app is clearly a forgotten afterthought. It won’t connect dependably and if you fluke it, you have to try all over again next time you use the bike. Don’t waste your time just stick with your Garmin.

Issues saving workouts

The app doesn’t save most of my workouts. It just fails and asks if I want to retry but never works. Super annoying.
