Espresso from The Economist Reviews

Could be better

Veron*54 on

Singapore

I would’ve given Espresso 5/5 we’re it not for the fact that it doesn’t seem to allow for screen rotation and enlargement of script and audio - all of which are available when I read the economist.

Great daily dose of facts that are important

Adrian R on

Singapore

Limited time makes this precisely what’s needed. Their daily dose of short articles seems to reliably capture the key events of the day and help alert me to areas I should explore further.

Why am I, a paying subscriber, have ads shown in the app??

ChingChongLingLongDingDong on

Singapore

I have an active subscription, and have logged into my account, and I still have ads shown when I’m reading my articles? What’s the point of paying a premium for content when I’m still shown ads??

First class information but expensive as hell

Quran Class TV on

Singapore

As you can read the headline that it’s first class and it’s expensive and that should be the case for any good things in life but unfortunately not the case now. Now with the free RSS feed is rampant with top and fast information being almost free (not totally free because these apps are using your data and selling them for cash) but without any cash involved for consumers, we will not be paying for information in the near future. So with the incredible stories are written in platforms like Medium, to maintain monetary incentive to the writers, Economists should sacrifice little bit of its current profit for the future by lowering the subscription fee and promoting clearly about its USP, this can engage more active users extending its life as a paid media.
