Not reliable

Half the time the products (aqua and lights) fail to respond. Currently none of them work and app is up to date. Very annoying.

Wouldn’t recommend this or the accessories

Unfortunately the Eve Aqua which we bought to hook up to our garden and lawn watering system distributor is not suited for this purpose. If we had one watering system that turned on all at once and needed to be on for the same amount of time it may work. The Eve app only lets you set up multiple programs to automatically water your garden on alternating days, and for any given program you can only set 7 watering periods. This doesn’t help when I need different watering periods for different sections of my garden, which require the Eve Aqua to turn off and on again to trigger the pressurised water distribution to change the area it is watering. It may seem like I have niche needs for my garden, but it’s not such an unusual thing and if anyone that worked on this app was a gardener, they would realise the restrictions don’t make sense and are not at all helpful. To be honest, I find these restrictions rather infuriating, so -2 stars, one for each arbitrary restriction. The other -2 stars comes from the amount of money I needed to spend before I found this out, not ideal and wish I had known beforehand, a manual timer would have been better. Please please please consider removing the restrictions on how many watering periods can be added to a given program, and also allow multiple programs to run on the same days. I would like a “summer program” or a “winter program”, I would like to be able to turn on a “it’s a really dry week, better water twice a day” or a “I’m away on holiday and don’t want my tomatoes to die” program. I just want to be able to water my garden :(

App update removes favourites setup

Another update overnight where all of the home favourites setup has been wiped and replaced with random cameras, lights and none of the Eve sensors. Really? How hard is it just to inherit a users setup in the app?

Really handy!

Elgato eve is a great way to see what the living conditions are like in and outside your home, it works really well and the data is clear and insightful. It would be really cool if in some way this app could integrate with other services like IFTT, but this is limited due to Bluetooth connectivity. I would love to be able to have a heater turn on or off when room reaches a specific temperature or have a fan turn on when it is too hot. What would also be good is notifications to let me know when it is too hot, and too humid in my room, or even when to open a window if the air quality decreases. Keep up the good work! ☺️
