App has several bugs. Takes a few attempts to connect to a board, doesn’t always save rides, doesn’t update scroll when using filters and now crashes every time you open it with the most recent update. Deleting and reinstalling doesn’t do anything so I just deleted it all together. Have AI help you find bugs/clean up the code!
I have a Carbon GTR series 1 and I was never able to successfully connect. When I connect it asks to configure my custom profile. I set it but when I click apply it always disconnects. App functionality seems super cool, but I have never been able to use it.
I started manually logging my trip. After a certain update the trips record your riding stats but doesn’t register with the leaderboards. The feature was good until it stopped working. This is an essential for updating settings.
I’d bet Evolve just doesn’t have the money or care to spend the money to update their app and that’s very unfortunate. I want to make adjustments to acceleration and braking for safety reasons. Sigh. So disappointing.
The app is good for changing settings on the board, adjusting braking Acceleration and power curves, etc…but it is no good for tracking rides or recording them. It will successfully track my entire ride (most of the time). However, when it comes time to finish the ride and record it the app does not save it. I’ve tried saving the trail I used as well as the overall time, speed, mileage, etc and it doesn’t save anything. If I go to the rides section it always tells me that I haven’t recorded any rides. It’s a shame cause it could be a good app, but I guess I will have to use my GPS watch or something else for tracking. The remote accurately tracks everything so it would be nice if you were able to somehow upload rides from the remote. Hopefully Evolve fixes this.
Love the evolve gtr board. No complaints about the boards. But the app seems to be useless. Won’t ever pair to the board and if it does it disconnects halfway through the ride. Not needed to have fun on your ride. Just adds unneeded frustrations.
It will not connect to board, asks for a code on board but there isn’t one
Not sure what all the negative reviews are about. I connected to my bamboo gtr2 in a few seconds, customized my board’s acceleration and braking and off I went on my first ride. It was as seamless as it gets. Does what it says it does.
After reading the directions and watching one video the app paired to my board within 20 seconds. Recorded my first ride with no issues. No problems at all defiantly impressed with all the work that must of gone into working on a great app.
I’m trying to connect to the app, it just keeps saying enter the pin from “evolve skateboard “ where the heck am I suppose to find this “pin” the board doesn’t have a screen, what am I missing? Please help
