Use flashcards, spaced-repetition, and your Apple Pencil to study with Feyn!
Taking your own notes by hand and spaced-repetition are the best way to learn new concepts, and with Feyn you can do just that. Open up a book on your iPad and comfortably draw your flashcards right there using your Apple Pencil in Feyn. The flashcards are phone-sized so that you can then take them on the go and comfortably review them on your iPhone! Their vertical shape also makes them easy to write while multi-tasking on your iPad, and perfect for learning languages written top to bottom like Japanese. If you don't feel like drawing, just type some text using your keyboard or drop images into your flashcards.
In this way, you *learn* on your iPad as you think of how to you summarize new concepts into flashcards, and *memorize* on your iPhone while you review them on the go!
Feyn is fully featured, you can share flashcard to study with your friends. Your flashcards will automatically synchronize between your devices using your iCloud drive. Feyn also supports iOS' Quick Note, Handoff, and keyboard input: type away on your iPad or on our macOS app!
Feyn uses spaced repetition to aid in learning. It will ask you to review flashcards depending on how well you recall them, flashcards you miss will be asked more often, and flashcards you get right less often. This way you minimize the total time you spend studying and maximize retention!
Feyn Pro ads some nice to have extra features like study charts, to see how well you're learning, and flashcard importing. All other features are free and unrestricted. We guarantee that you will always be able to have a complete study experience for free.

How much does Feyn cost?
Feyn has several in-app purchases/subscriptions, the average in-app price is 26.31 S$.
I almost never write reviews, but this app is amazing. I’ve always seen people use SRS apps for language learning, but I found it to be a pain that I had to alternate between language keyboards to type it out. That takes way longer than writing, but digital SRS is more convenient.
I love that I could write out the back and front easily. If I could suggest an improvement, I’d love to be able to categorise my cards properly, rather than with just tags. Maybe an option to go straight to a collection of cards. :) Thank you so much developers.
Great Flash Card App!
I started using this app so that I could make flash cards to help memorize and test myself on learning Japanese works, characters, etc. There are a ton of good features that you get with the free version. If you are getting more in depth than I am it would be useful to get the subscription. But overall I’m up to 290 flash cards across 9 folders (some nested folders). These cards will sync across devices!
Do recommends if you are looking for a great flash card app!
Great study tool
I love this app! It is getting me through dental school and I have recommended this to my other colleagues. It’s always going through nice updates also
Enjoying so Far, But PLEASE make a few changes. Please.
I want to pay for premium, but there are a few key issues I have with FEYN.
First, I wish there was a way to sync cards to Drive, or some other method that isn’t iCloud. iCloud is not a reliable method for me to study, and I want to be able to sync cards between my iPad and my computer.
If this can be fixed, I would buy premium in a heartbeat. I love this app, but I do hope it can be improved…
Great App - Needs Folder Nestimg
This app is great. The feyn method has proved useful in my chemistry, orgo and anatomy classes.
My only 2 points of frustration are that
1) I am unable to beat folders. As someone who loves organization, the ability to nest folders under larger folders would be incredible, especially given the quantity of decs I create. For example, I would love to be able to create an Orgo folder with sub folders for NMR and functional groups. This would be sooo helpful.
The developers clearly respond to feedback and I am hopeful they will implement this much needed feature.
2) I am not (as I understand) able to selectively turn on notifications for specific decs. This feature would be really helpful as I find myself silencing all notifications due to the sheer volume of decs I have. This defeats the Feyn power a bit and I would love to utilize it more effectively.
Great potential
This app is the best study tool I have found! I wish there was the ability to further customize your study plan or changing how many cards you want to do per day.

Would like to the ability to add text
Awesome app would like the option to add type text through the keyboard because in can sometimes be difficult to write it down by drawing.
Perfect for Orgo
Love this app! Just wished that you could share flash cards. :) lots of potential for this app!
