The Flipboard concept used to be to simulate a magazine with gorgeous layout and only a few articles per page. But it seems they have abandoned that and now it’s just another RSS reader. I prefer Feedly for that. A shame, really.
Very buggy app.
I tried to add federated news to Home, but it is empty unless I go to mastodon in ”following” page and refresh the content there.
After the last update, there’s randomly popping up ads to download apps. It’s even a double pop-up so you have to close it twice before you can move on… highly annoying.

I love this app and use it daily since many years. Improvement ideas: Currently there is a limitation that you can have only three pages of news tiles. I could easily use double that amount and would love to have some kind of tab system for jumping quickly to the right page. I could even pay for those extra pages. The other negative thing is that it looks as if the integration with the social media sites seem to have gotten worse over time. The third annoyance is that you cannot flip a picture to your own magazine. I would love to do that.

Flipboard comment section need moderators as there are so many extremist group trolls. I am leaving this app now.
Each category is full of articles that have nothing to do with the topic, and many articles point to old websites that no longer exist.
