Miss the old Flipboard

This app is not really the same old flipboard from when I was in high school when I could flip for 'hours', and now it's just a flop

Great app until they put inn timed advertisements

Like the title says, was a great app until they put inn timed advertisements.

Snart ubrukbar

Du må nå ha abb. i mange amerikanske aviser for å kunne lese mer enn overskriftene.

Like playing Asteroids, only with ads.

I remember using Flipboard several years ago. It was like this amazing never ending magazine, containing all the topics of my choosing. I actually read stuff of interest to me. And I loved it. Now, this may all still be true. But returning to this app in 2020, I find myself constantly distracted by advertisements. It’s like a game of Asteroids, where you fight hordes of never ending ads, coming from every angle. It’s Adsteroids! I just made that up.

Getting worse and worse

When these guys aquired Zite, one hoped they would bring in some of the gold from that app, not just kill a competitor. But no. Flipboard keeps getting bigger and more repetetive ads. Keeps pulling in the exact same stories from various sources. And pushes their useless «Storyboard» more and more, which has no other functionality than force more clicks on the users. And is unable to learn. When I select «show less of this», it has no effect whatsoever.

No fun anymore

When I was attacked with an ad for lip gloss for the 1532th time, I knew it was time for me to end our 7 year relationship. Bye Flipboard.

Best newsreader in the world!

This app has given me access to a number of life changing articles and bits of content I would never would have found on my own.

Educating and interesting

Reading Flipboard is a convinient way of reading educating books on he run. Adding new knowledge and keeping updated with most important news.
