This app would be 5/5 if certain issues were fixed. A lot of the times I’m using it the notification of the session being over or the break being over does not work. I have sounds turned on but it only sounds occasionally. It just means I need to keep checking to ensure I haven’t gone over a break for instance. The second issue is the amount of flows completed is inaccurate most of the time (for example I’d do 7 but it says 5) I haven’t skipped a session or break or anything so I don’t know what causes it. Also before the newest update I could activate a session or break using my Apple Watch but now I can not. It was a nice addition so it would be great if it could be added back. Other than that it’s a great app and I’d be happy with just the first issue being fixed as the second and third are just minor problems.
It drains far too much battery. I'm using a M1 Macbook Air so perhaps this is a compability issue, but the battery drain makes it almost unsuable for me. It's taking around twice the battery as safari (with multiple open tabs) even while it's doing nothing and idling in the background. Besides this, the app is wonderful. I love the simplicity and minimalist UI. Just wish the battery issue wasn't a thing.
nothing to be said... perf x
A beautiful minimalistic focus timer that does the job! The iOS app features are lesser than the MacOS app. What’s missing is the block app and block URL options. It could be handy if it’s available to remove any temptation while focusing on tasks using iOS devices. Hope this will be introduced in the future :)
This is an elegant, simple solution. It doesn't overcomplicate things, but allows me to focus on my writing sprints when that's how I want to work. It has Alfred integration, Calendar sync, all built upon a really solid foundation. Great app!
This app is perfect, it is exactly what I was looking for and is perfect for study. Highly reccomend.
I've used several Pomodoro timers. As a consultant I need to a) focus and b) track my time, so I find that Flow helps with both: I get the benefits of Pomodoro tracking and application blocking, and it records the finished Pomorodos to my calendar. Winning.
Awesome app and just what you expect from it. Wish you could change the alert tone though :(
Exactly what you want from a pomodoro timer.
