They’ll start looking for a driver 3 minutes before your booking time and it’s likely there won’t be any drivers! What exactly is the point of the pre booking option?

I’ve used the app for the last few years and love it but since the update when pickup location was green and drop off was red and both were changed to black the app has been awful very hard to pre book, no drivers available, app telling you taxi is 2 minutes away and you’ve to chase it up after 20 minutes. This morning I had a hospital appointment pre booked 8:50 phone no taxi and when I phoned it would then be too late to pick me up for me to reach hospital for appointment, don’t know what’s happening with this app but it’s definitely responsible for losing customers.

Recently Fona cab have become very very unreliable. The new feature on the app, logs your request, but waits ages for a driver to reply. Recently I tried to pre book a cab a day in advance and when it didn’t arrive I was told no cabs were in the area😤 The person I spoke to seemed to think this was ok when Indicated what was the point of pre-booking she dismissed my question. Basically, what used to be a very reliable service is irratic and unreliable

Doesn’t accept any of my cards whereas as other taxi apps do. I left a single star because it’s tough to be positive when services are so rubbish that they waste your time

Excellent service, most Units are quite new units, first time to use it here in Belfast was very impressed but only issue is when all the Cab units including Value cabs and Uber are busy then its hard to find one otherwise all good. Will definitely use it again soon when we come back here in Belfast.
