Oftentimes patients get confused as to why a food may be troublesome, not realizing that every food can have multiple mechanisms by which it can trigger discomfort in the body, from a histamine reaction to an all-out immune reaction. This app is a must-have for any food sensitive individual to have with them when shopping at the supermarket or eating out."

I wanted to try this app and started the free trial, didn’t particularly like it so I cancelled the subscription days before the free trial ended yet I still got charged for it and now they’re saying the purchase is not eligible for a refund. Deleted the app and still waiting for my money back.

I’ve tried on my iPhone and iPad and the ‘add to list’ button is out of screen sight. I have a screen shot to show the problem

Hi there. Very good app but need to update more often with new foods as well.

Excellent comprehensive app

This is detailed and thorough, using this app I figured out I’m actually histamine intolerant rather than being sensitive to FODMAP food as the drs always suggest whe they give you the ibs diagnosis. It was 5 years of low FODMAP diet but still occasionally getting symptoms for me, then got this app and combined with using a good food diary i finally deduced I have histamine intolerance! Highly recommend this is you have a random intolerance, mast cell activation syndrome, or have no idea what’s going on with you! It can be several things ( I currently also react to lectins as I’m in a flare but once you go on an elimination diet of the foods that trigger you for a month you give your system a chance to calm down and can then start reintroducing foods to see how you react! So glad I found this app thank you!

Poor ui programming

Fodmaps are all grouped together which is a bit limiting as I don’t want Oligos but don’t mind polyols, but I have no idea which one of the 5 is high. And for some reason I thought I would be able to search for a food based on the categories. Eg foods low in amines, low is sulphites, high in something else... but can’t do that. If I drill down into a food, then tap a different category from the scales, the ui fails again. Tap back and get duplicate high/low options that actually go to different lists. I get high/low fodmaps twice but the 2nd pair actually show thiols.

Fabulous

I have searched for so long for a list of all the potential food contents that might cause symptoms and issues, this app is a life changer and will make the minefield of dietary issues so much easier. Thank you so much!

Please, please add a calculation system

Jess Lapin on

I’m giving this 5 stars because it’s the only app I can find that helps with salicylates. It’s helpful to a degree, but what I desperately need is a way of entering daily foods and seeing a calculation of total salicylate, oxalate, histamine and amine consumption in mg. I’ve found an app that does this for oxalates, but I have problems with multiple foods and it’s a juggling nightmare. If the app helped me easily keep track of actual amounts I’m eating it would be such a lifesaver and I’m sure it would help so many people. Thank you for creating the app and I so hope you can include a calculation system at some point.
