I feel so lucky to have recently found this App that’s saving my life. My type 2 diabetes has reversed, all blood tests are good. I lost about 5 kg, my years of sleeping disorder healed, acid gone, my crazy cravings and constant hunger subsided yet gained a lot more energy.
I watched many of the P:E Diet brilliant author, Ted Naiman’s interviews, which helped me a lot to understand how to use the App more effectively. Ava is also very helpful when asking specific questions - like quantities and kinds of vegetables with more fibre etc.
I can’t recommend this App enough.
In a nutshell, if you up ⬆️ the proteins and fibres and eat as much as you want till you’re full, the rest, such as your craving for carbs and fats will inevitably subside ⬇️ quite substantially and almost effortlessly.
I find this new way of living a radical shift in perspective - challenging at times but exciting and rewarding.
Charged for a free trial!
I downloaded Hava upon its initial release a few months back. I saw the potential but felt that it needed time to develop so I cancelled my free trial.
I downloaded the app yesterday to explore the recent updates and I was given the option to have another free trial for seven days (or at least that’s what the buttons in the app said!).
I’ve been charged for three months! Why was the free trial available as an option if it’s not been honoured? I’ve contacted supported for a refund but no response yet.
Search function doesn’t work
Since the latest update it is almost impossible to find anything in the search to add food section. It was working so well and tracking was easy, now I can’t find most of the things I need to track. Will have to cancel my subscription unless things improve which is a real shame as initially I loved it.
Useless
Within one hour of signing up yesterday evening, only AI available. Sent in screenshot and received 1-3 days warning of help - out of 7 day free trial. This morning no access to AI due to server error. This is like Mediterranean Keto from the little I have gleaned so far - a way of eating that is also satiating. I’ve cancelled app/subscription now. Just can’t be doing with these failures.
Hopeless
Try adding Pink Grapefruit for breakfast. Or perhaps tomato and pepper soup for lunch. The complete lack of human-centred design of this app is frankly astonishing. Did they really think through how people might use this app? I do suggest you try it for a few hours just to understand how not to build a app. I was going to give it 2 stars but having read my review its a zero! Call IDEO they can help you.
