So far so good - few suggestions
For a free app, it is seriously well equipped with solid note taking functions. One thing I would like to bring up however, is that when importing a document in an existing note - will only show the first page in the document being imported. It would be amazing if this could be upgraded and allow full import of the documents within an existing note. (From the import command in an open note) Really love all its functions. Allows a lot of control over note taking. Would recommend to those who like the organizational control. If you prefer fast and easy, simple note taking layouts, you may have to look elsewhere. May comeback with more comments after using this app some more! :) All the best to this amazing new app.

I’m actually really impressed with the amount of features this app has. It’s very much like all the paid note taking apps out there, but premium is free on this. Really love the ability to add photos and your own fonts. I’ve only just started using, but I am very pleased with the app so far.
Good app
Pros: Good app with lots of features. Free for early users with email registered (hopefully it remain like that or at least be a one time purchase, not a month subscription). I like the custom templates feature. Cons: I tried to organize my custom templates by dragging and sorting them, but it’s kinda broken and not being at the place I wanted. I hope you have a better interface to sort the templates we have, like categories and such. Right now, it’s quite small and hard to find if we start adding too many templates. Thank you for making this app.

no ads, no membership, no referrals or anything. has all features apps like goodnotes offers. only complaint is that it is slightly less intuitive than goodnotes (ex. no scrolling to add a new page, scribble to erase) but they are hardly a problem. they also have some features/design niches which i feel personally is better, like tapping once with both fingers to undo, being able to add the same pens with different colours to the tool bar to switch colours with one tap.

The fact that this note taking app is completely free, having copious customisable and accessible features is perfect. I’m looking forward to familiarizing myself with all the tools and templates! I would definitely recommend this app for students like myself and others in both personal or professional use!
THIS IS THE WAY!
This app is the reason I've become so productive and I don't care for other (on the top charts) note taking apps tbh, this is the one true app I & my iPad needed! It's simple, elegant, well-built, efficient, not overly complicated, UI/UX is nice and the regular updates are just the cherry on top. These are all there but there's always room for further development. I hope the app stays true to its name (and stay free) and stays on the same path with the high quality development. And I hope elegance wouldn't be sacrificed for some over-the-top complex feature. I hate to see apps turn into subscription-base paid ones & for this particular magnificent app right here I'm sure the community would be more than happy to help out the developer(s) in any way they could (I know I would, so please add a patron link or sth for donations or... .) This is bc I believe we need this kind of an app to EXIST. (That's how bad things are now) What Freenote resembles and achieves... is just priceless. This is the way! Keep going! P.S. I hardly post reviews, I'm... just... in awe... . Amazing work!
