Frohes neues Jahr =)🎉! Ich hoffe, dass die App Entwickler im neuen Jahr 2025 genauso weitermachen wie immer. Es ist gut dass sie sich für die meisten Aktualisierungen um die Fehlerbehebungen kümmern und ab und zu etwas neues dazukommt. Auch finde ich gut, dass man die Farben der Knöpfe und Optionen sowohl für den hellen Modus als auch für den dunklen Modus beliebig und nach eigenen Geschmack einstellen kann. Die Farbe des App icons für den Home Bildschirm, für den Dock und für die App Mediathek kann man jetzt ebenfalls ändern. Ich habe ein Bienenfoto als Hintergrundbild und, damit ich immernoch in guter Laune ☀️bleibe, Widgets mit weiteren Hummel- und Bienenfotos hinzugefügt. Es sieht so schön aus, dass ich das Hintergrundbild und meinen Homebildschirm nie wieder ändern will, weil ich weiß, dass ich die Fotos nie wieder finden werde und meinen Homebildschirm nie wieder so sortieren kann, wie es vorher war. Doch leider passt keins der neuen App Symbole zu meinem Homebildschirm, weil sie zu hell wirken oder der Kontrast die Optik des Homebildschirms schadet. Deshalb habe ich die Farbe des App Symbols schwarz gelassen, denn ich bin schon seit ein Jahr + ein Monat an dieses App Symbol gewohnt. Außerdem passt die Farbe am besten zu der Hummel im Widget! Trotzdem vielen Dank für diese Neuen Funktionen! Doch eine Sache gefällt mir nicht: jedes Mal muss ich immer dieselben stiftesorten benutzen: langweilige Kugelschreiber, Marker, Füller und Bleistifte. Man kann zwar Strichstärke, Transparenz und Farben mit Farbpalette einstellen, doch auf Dauer und bei täglicher Benutzung wird es langweilig 💤 und nicht mehr so besonders, vor allem weil ich bei jeder einzelnen Aktualisierung auf neue und besondere Stiftesorten warte. Jedes Mal, kurz bevor ich die App aktualisiere, denke ich immer daran, doch dann muss ich doch immer die Hoffnung aufgeben, weil ich jedes Mal beim Suchen und Ausprobieren der neuen Funktionen keine neuen Stifte aufgelistet sehe. Hoffentlich werden welche bei der nächsten Aktualisierung hinzugefügt. Bitte denkt daran. Tipps: In anderen Notizen Apps, zum Beispiel in der App „Notes+“ kann man viel mehr Stiftearten in der Stiftebox hinzufügen oder in Colla notes gibt es so viele Stifte, die schönsten kann man aber nur in der kostenpflichtigen Version benutzen. In Apple Notes und in anderen vereinzelten Apps, die leider doch nicht so leistungsstark wie Freenotes sind, gibt es so einen coolen Aquarellpinsel, Kreide oder einen Eimer, der geschlossene Formen
Great Note APP for free - really for free?
From the first day on since I use an iPad, on my job and at home, too, I use apps to make notes. I tested several apps, and at last, I found out, that Freenotes is one of the best. In Freenotes you can work with layers, you can record while your are creating a note, you can fit in pictures, textboxes. The pictures and textboxes are scaleable. Freenotes offers a bunch of tools, for example pencils, ballpens, fountain pens, colour palettes and more. You can backup your notes in several ways, you can sync your notes in iCloud, so that your notes are available on all your devices in the same version. There is a history function, that allows you to switch to an older version of your note. Handwritten text can be converted to typed text. Only one thing could be better, because I would prefer to be able to create more than 5 folder levels, because I need it. This one behavior is the KO criteria for me not to use the app. The App is for free. Especially because of this huge offer of tools and functions, I am wondering, what is the price you really have to pay for this great app? There is no ads, you do not have to register an account, you can use the app offline. As far as I know and was able to test, there is no malware and no spyware. In this days no one really gives you a gift for free, so what is the price you really have to pay for this app, I ask myself? I read the privacy policy and I could not found any reason why not to use Freenotes. The only thing, I can do is to say a big THANK YOU to the developers and wish them all the best.

I really enjoy the app because it’s almost like goodnotes but personally better and also free. I have one small issue tho… can you guys please add like zoom lvls so i don’t have to manually adjust the zoom? Thanks in advance!!!

Good and Simple
The App is easy to use and offenders many cool new features. You can add folders with different covers and under folders. The only downside to Notability is, that the folders are only shown on the side in.a list and that the covers only have limited pastel colors to choose from, although you can upload a pdf as well. All in all an awesome app, especially for free.

Ich nutze die App seit mehreren Monaten und bin sehr zufrieden. Man muss nichts extra zahlen und hat unbegrenzt Notizbücher. Das einzige das mir persönlich fehlen würde, wäre ein Zoomfeld zum schrieben wie es zum Beispiel bei goodnotes zu finden ist. Ansonsten ist die App sehr empfehlenswert
