FreeOTP adds a second layer of security for your online accounts. This works by generating one-time passwords on your mobile devices which can be used in conjunction with your normal password to make your login nearly impossible to hack. These passwords can be generated even when your phone is in airplane mode.
FreeOTP works with many of the great online services you already use, including Google, Facebook, Evernote, GitHub and many more! FreeOTP also may work for your private corporate security if they implement the standardized TOTP or HOTP protocols. This includes great enterprise solutions like FreeIPA.
FreeOTP is open source and free software! Licensed under the Apache 2.0 license, you can obtain the source code for FreeOTP at https://fedorahosted.org/freeotp for review or modification. Contributions are welcome!

Works as intended
Works great as intended, but saved OTPs will not transfer during a phone upgrade. So if it is cumbersome to reset them for you then this can be annoying. I use FreeOTP for handling a OTP manager that houses the rest of OTPs which can be backed up. This is because I can’t rely on my manager as a main since it needs an OTP, which can cause me to being locked out. So freeOTP is used as my key for keys, so to speak.
No way to backup
I’m planing on switching to another phone and this app doesn’t let me backup the 2fa settings. I will have to start from zero again once i get my new phone.
La nouvelle version 2.3.2 bug
Je n'aie plus accès à mes codes depuis que j'ai installé la nouvelle version. Comme si ce n'était plus compatible avec le site......
No option to delete or backup entries
No option to delete or backup entries. No options to change GUI, doesn’t automatically pull favicons
Crashing
Latest update crashes the app after scanning my fingerprint. Solid app, but this is a problem.
Doesn’t Work (No Token Generated)
This app seems to have stopped working since the last update. It crashes after I scan my finger for Touch ID authentication. I can’t get a token, which is obviously extremely problematic given that is the purpose of the app.
I’ve tried restarting my phone. I’ve also tried deleting the app, restarting my phone, and then reinstalling the app. I’ve updated everything.
I have an iPhone 6 running iOS 12.4.9.
Please fix ASAP.
Would be 5 stars if...
Awesome app,
I would give it 5 stars if the app itself was protected by a passcode or something when you want to open it.
Simple but Very Useful
Great little simple app that works as intended. Accomplishes its mean purpose reliably with no fluff, nor bloat. More apps should be like that. QR code scans no problem on iPhone 8.
Works as described. Simple and effective
A very bare bones MFA app that does the job. QR code scanning seems imperfect but worked for me on 2nd or 3rd attempt. No copy-paste of the code which could be annoying but not a big deal.
QR code scan doesn’t work
As others have stated, trying to scan a QR code doesn’t work. It cannot seem to open the camera. (iPhone 6s)
