New Update, new issue! On the guitar and 6-string bass, the 23rd fret is wrong. It throws everything off. It shouldn’t be highlighted at all. It’s supposed to be the 24th fret, not the 23rd. I can’t even use it right now. Please fix.

I had to update my last review since my previous concerns were addressed. Thank you for the fixes! The name that note layout is great, just like a piano keyboard. No more searching for notes. I really appreciate the response from the development team. Awesome! Thanks again. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I want to give this app 5 stars but I just can’t. Not until this one issue is resolved. When playing the “Name that note” game, the main notes are set up in order. That is of course expected. But when you tap the flat key or # if that’s your thing, the order of the notes above don’t make any sense. Why are they not set up in the same order as a piano? Ab should be above A, Bb above B etc.? Instead there are redundant notes, 2 B’s 2 E’s…. WTH! Fix this please! I shouldn’t have to search for the notes. How is that helping me study? If it’s set up like a piano, the visual representation will connect across both instruments and the intervals will be correct. Please fix!!
Incredible App!
This app has been phenomenal; I’ve learned the e, an and d string notes in a matter of weeks, and working still on the other two. My only complaint is that I get logged-out and have to “restore purchase” every month, and it’s a hassle. If you need to know if someone has a ticket to the train, throwing everyone off and making them come back through the turnstiles is an unacceptable solution. At least make it easy for me to restore: the button is hard to find.
Fun
Honestly I’ve been wanting to memorize the fret board for a while and playing the games made it fun (I payed 2 dollars) but I feel it was worth it ngl)
Very highly recommend!!
Literally the #1 best app for musicians to progress and master the fretboard and much more. If your serious about strengthening you're fretboard and music theory knowledge then download this app. The premium is a must! but it’s worth it.
Great App! Worth the fees.
If you are becoming an intermediate guitarist who wants to learn more than a couple chords and the Pentatonic scale in one place on the fretboard , this app has everything you need to go to the next level. This app is complete and teaches the basic fundamentals of music theory and how to apply. 5/5.
Memorization of the fretboard is key!! If you really want to learn how to play through songs and play more than just the easiest rock songs, you need this knowledge. If you practice every day and implement this app in your learning and practice, you will most definitely get the results. You will be a better Musician as well as being able to apply music theory applications to the guitar itself.
I understand most people would rather pay a one time fee, I would too, but for what you’re getting, it’s absolutely fair and if you can’t do the yearly, download the app. you really can’t do much without paying but you can get a feel for the app. If you think it’s for you, 2.99 a month is pretty fair. I don’t know why everyone seems to think that this should just be free for everybody or not worthy as a subscription. Someone put a lot of time in this app; for what you’re getting, it’s pretty reasonable.
Tell me a place you can get one 45-minute guitar lesson that’s cheaper than the price of this app.
✌️🤘🎸
** I have nothing to do with the production of this app and I don’t know the owners or or the developers.**
Could be better
Hey I usually don’t do reviews but I’m trying to quiz myself to memorize the neck of the guitar for my own song making and I really don’t think only 1 challenge should be avaliable if you don’t get the premium at lease cycle through the challenges each day not just limit people to just the first fret challenge 🫤
Onerous terms of service
Expensive subscription and the terms of service you have to click “accept” in are onerous.
So great (one complaint)
This app is honestly the only thing that's made me legitimately start to learn the fretboard. The monthly cost is well worth it. My only gripe is a small bug where say I'm playing the "name note" game. Typically, when you touch a note, the note will sound out (this is an option). If I exit the app and then come back in the same session, the note no longer plays, and I need to close the app and restart it. Again, I love the app, but this really annoys me lol. If it's fixed it's an easy 6/5 stars.
The best
I have downloaded and used many guitar apps, and this one blows them all away as far as training and practicing the fretboard when away from my guitar.
four stars
loved this app for memorization, but can’t figure out how to quit my subscription. any help?
