When paired with a compatible Garmin kid’s wearable device, the Garmin Jr.™ app¹ is a parent’s resource for keeping track of kids’ activity² and sleep, managing chores and rewards and encouraging 60 minutes of activity a day.
With an LTE-capable device, parents can also stay connected to their kids with text and voice messaging features. They can track their location on the map in the Garmin Jr.™ app, set boundaries and receive alerts related to those boundaries. Your kids will be only be able to communicate with the people you add as guardians, caregivers or friends in the app.
The Parent Helper
With the Garmin Jr.™ app on their smartphone, parents can:
• Get detailed statistics of their child’s activity and sleep.
• Celebrate personal records, including steps and active minutes.
• Assign tasks and chores and reward your kids for a job well done.
• Manage your child’s device settings, including goals, alarms, icons and display.
• Create challenges to encourage the whole family to be more active.
• Connect with other families and compete in multi-family challenges.
• Invite up to nine guardians and caregivers to your family.
• Send text and voice messages to your child’s compatible Garmin device.*
• Track your child’s location on the map.*
• Get notified when your child leaves or arrives at a family boundary.*
• Get notified when kids in the family request Assistance from their compatible devices.

Amazing experience but need improvement
Amazing kids watch, just need tracking location for safety. Could be also great to have the ability to call my child to her watch or send messages.
Amazing
Lovely
Good but not as good
My daughter keeps on losing her watch and she loves that watch it would be nice to add a find my Garmin Jr watch on the app so I could pair it if we could ever find it again.
Simple and effective
We are using the app with my 7 year old. He loves the interactive games and informative scenarios. We have been using the app now for a week and are still exploring all the functions.
Love the watch and support
My son loves the watch. I am happy with the watch and app. I had an issue with alarms on the app, but it was resolved within the same day! Amazing. Thank you
Good encouragement for kids
My daughter loves the app, and goes out of her way to exercise so that she can earn more moves :) This is great motivation from Garmin.
No cloud syncing
A bit disappointed in the app. Both my kids have recently got their Vívofit jr watches. I am the administrator on the app. I have invited my husband too. Unfortunately, if I tick off their chores on my phone, and my husband then syncs the kids watches, it zero’s their chores on the watches. We both have to tick off the chores on both our phones. Cloud syncing would be best, that way if I sync my kids info, he can open the app hit refresh and it download what the kids have done for the day, rather than him having to sync their watches and zeroing their chores.

Love this app but...
When my child (eldest child )moves on to a new level it says they it’s still on the current level that she was on. But the watch says that she’s on level:10 please fix it thanks
