Gmail - Email by Google

I noticed google started disguising ads in my mailbox on the Gmail App. This makes me very uncomfortable because it hurts my productivity and focus. Alphabet/Google’s revenue push and heightened ad campaigning is starting to push me away from their platform. There are alternatives to all of google’s services/apps and I will switch if these ads get any more intrusive.

How is it that if you’re trying to do ANYTHING other than basic emails (I.e., search for old emails, read a long string) that it’s virtually impossible with this app???? Microsoft doesn’t beat Google at too many things, but the Outlook app is FAR SUPERIOR to the Gmail app.

Constantly in a loading status, the swirling symbol is on the screen, but the app will not fully open. This recent update has ruined. The app itself please fix.

I don’t know why people hate this app now I use gmail a lot for mail and it’s the best app yet. Regular Mail is okay but yk. Thank you google for this app

I liked it years ago but since ios18 came out this app is making it harder to login to my Gmail account I’m contemplating just using another service.

This new update is making the application crash. You need to fix it because I use Gmail for work.

I have had this account for years and now all of the sudden I can’t receive emails until I buy more storage space ? Why are emails being saved anyway ? Yahoo would never do this . This is ridiculous and I hope you know I’ve simply just deleted your app . I’m not paying for anything especially just to receive emails , if you as a company who’s been here for a while is suffering that bad that you need money for storage and emails then you shouldn’t be in operation any longer simply , sorry not sorry

Gmail does not wake up the lockscreen to provide notification information. This broke when I moved to the iPhone 16 Pro last month. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling, nothing works.
