Google Play Books & Audiobooks

The status bar at the top of the screen refuses to hide while reading (battery, time etc.) This is okay with normal books but is very intrusive while reading graphic novels. The issue has been reported several times and google has refused to fix it for years. Shameful.

The app does not keep online with the book, turning the page to blank nothing. I’m online, the only Fix I’ve found is to uninstall and reinstall . Please fix this.

The description didn’t say anything about having to pay for the books and neither did Google :(

Can u please add good offline Turkish dictionary and online one is not good here thanks !:)

It’s good for just reading actually, not good for highlighting or taking note. Many time it stuck when zoom in zoom out page.

This is a great app and easy to use.

Where have all my purchases gone? Had to type in the titles, just to restore my prior purchases.. And we seem to be limited to just a piffling eight titles. I read and buy many titles, if you’re like me you’ll now have to decide which ones are your priorities, of you’ll be needing to type each and every title over and above the mist recent 8 or so. Am disappointed with Google Play Books version 5.0.1, will now only buy if Kindle or iBooks don’t have it. Will have to keep an easily-accessible list to jog my memory of what I’ve purchased, to find them. This app and this version are not for readers who have libraries with numbers of purchases in them.

I have an iPhone 7 and use the iBook app but I would much rather use this app. I can use the google books app to read already purchased books but I can’t buy or download anything new from it. Is there away around this? I love everything about this app and really don’t enjoy using the iBook app when this is so perfect for me. Please help

Both the iPhone and iPad app are downloading my books and when I try read them it doesn’t open. Going out of the book shows it downloading again. Thought it would be fixed in this update but no. Please fix it.

This makes reading so much easier! Love it!
