Lock Screen controls cause playback to start unexpectedly

There's no options to see the episodes you always heard, there're no options at all. You have to scroll all the episodes to find the one you didn't listen yet

Best one out there. Biggest selection. Simple.

This app needs a place to leave comments on podcast episodes and a way to rate them as well. It's my favorite podcast app otherwise but these features would make it sooo much better

I use to use Google Play to manage my podcasts, switch to Apple, then Spotify. I recently switched back to google podcast because I wanted something that would work with my Google Home. But for some reason if I pause the podcast too long it doesn't remember where it was after being paused for more than a few minutes (maybe it only effects custom RSS feeds, but still). The interface doesn't support as much custom settings for individual feeds and no support from Google Maps for integration (but support for Spotify?!). Interface is clean though. Edit: for some reason it won’t let me auto download custom rss feed podcasts either.

That UI looks like it is made for iPhone not iPad. Just make it for iPad and I will be the first one download it.

I switched to iPhone but much prefer Google tech and apps where possible. I use Google podcast as my primary podcast app but a few features are missing; 1. Why can’t I cast to my Google Home Speaker? Spotify allows this functionality, I can’t understand why this app won’t. 2. Needs Force Touch / holding down on an episode to mark it as played/unplayed.

Takes me having to open the app a minimum of 3-4 times before it eventually stops crashing. Please fix.
