Acorn TV

Not impressed!

This is way overpriced for the content you receive. BritBox is a far better alternative with a larger content library, including some of the same content as Acorn. I can’t stress enough, use the trial before making any subscription commitments.

Unfortunately some of the shows that acorn advertises are not available in Canada, even when you pay the same price as other countries. It’s pretty disappointing and I’m considering not renewing because of this.

Please add a category on the home page that says CONTINUE for the shows i am watching already

Ive loved Acorn for years, but they struggle with new shows… that aren’t 20 years old. I feel like ive seen 80% of options and keep going back for new and disappointed . Also, the app should have a section “new” to acorn

I am enjoying Acorn very much, the content is good. The thing I am disappointed about is on my iPad I can’t get landscape option picture. So it’s a small letter screen. I have Britbox and I can get landscape option on there. Brenda

Once they get your money, there is no way to cancel Acorn TV. The shows aren’t very good, it’s not worth $99. they charge me.

I live in Canada and this app works very well here. I am able to watch British, Australian, New Zealand, Scandinavian, and European programming which I love to binge watch. So far they are working hard to add new programming.

Acorn TV app has been an absolute nightmare. It works on Apple TV however on our Samsung televisions when you try to login there is always issues. Activation codes don't work, the same login used to cross all devices yet constantly get error messages, shut down unexpectedly. Incredibly poor performance. Quite disappointing considering that there are some good shows on this streaming service. Pity the app isn't more robust.
