Scheduled transactions let you keep track of all of your recurring bills. Set reminders so you never forget to pay them, and when your bills are due, log the payment with a tap.

• Reconcile your accounts easily
It's easy to reconcile accounts in GreenBooks with your bank. New transactions are marked as pending with a yellow flag, just tap the flag to clear it. You see both the ledger and cleared balance of your accounts at any time.

• Split transactions
If you spent money in a store but they don’t all belong to the same category, simply split the transaction into multiple categories.

• Passcode protection
Easily protect your data with a PIN.

• Connect to banks or enter manually. It’s your choice.
GreenBooks has the ability to connect directly to the bank (via the Mac app), however, it is not necessary. You can enforce good spending habits by entering transactions manually.

• Use GreenBooks for Mac for even more power.
GreenBooks for Mac has advanced features such as connecting to banks, editing multiple transactions at once, creating long-term budgets, viewing your net worth and spending trends over time. Data is automatically synchronized with the iPhone app via iCloud.

Perfect amount of detail simple and effective

Brilliantly simple!

I’ve been looking for a finance package ever since the demise of MS Money and I’ve tried most of the ones available. Every one I tried had a flaw I couldn’t live with and was either too simplistic or too complex. A friend recommended Greenbooks and I’m hooked; it does almost what I want (nothing will ever be perfect) and is brilliantly simple to use.

Only finance app you'll need

Ok, while the title is true for most people anyone who uses extensive report features may find this won't quite meet their needs. But it still proves plenty of detail for the vast majority of users. The most important features that are absolutely flawless is the sync between this and a Mac and that it keeps the correct running totals, including cleared and pending and presents it easily for you to see. Is so good that I've had to wait for my bank to show the right total on a couple of occasions! It's worth every penny and I totally recommend it.

Excellent apps for Apple users

Great app. I have used for many years in its previous incarnation “Savings”. Links really well to the MACos version keeping things in track. I use the app for budgeting too which is great. Needed support a few times and this has always been excellent.
