Very good but missing some essential feature
I love this app, one of the easiest to learn and fantastic sound packs. Some feature would make it perfect though like song mode (setting up the section order and how many time to play each), I miss being able to use it in AUM with multi out (audio and midi), it would be great to make it auv3 audio plugin for example.

Great App!! But...
why no Midi-Out? Everything I like in this app, it just the best app for intuitive creating live performances, but I want to play the sounds of my analog hardware synth with it not only the internal sounds. Maybe in a next Update MIDI-Out is implemented?
The perfect music making app on iOS!
I’ve tried & still use many music making apps, but this is the best! Instruments & presets all sound fantastic, the 1 CHF extensions are all worth it! Unlock the Pro features and find the most intuitive synths you can imagine. Poly-8 brings astounding analogue sounds, the best on iOS in my view.

It's worth it to buy RetroBass and Poly-8 Trust me..you will be amazed what all can change and create the way you love it... An alle die es Lieben Musik Auf eine Professionelle art und Weise zu kreieren... GROOVEBOX IST DAS Musik APP DAS IHR BRAUCHT. Es lohnt sich 100% Geld auszugeben für die beiden Synthesizer (Retrobass & Poly-8) Ihr werdet verblüfft sein wenn ihr seht was man so alles mögliche machen kann. Vertraut mir,ich weiss es.

Good But Could Be Amazing…
I like Groovebox because the layout and simplicity of the app makes it so easy to create a good song sketch (for electronic music). Unfortunately, the app is missing features that would make it an amazing and complete sketch tool. For me, the biggest issue is the lack of MIDI out. If I could sketch a song in Groovebox, start with stock sounds - then set each track to a MIDI channel out to hardware or another DAW…this would be my main sketching tool. Other cons? - Very limited piano roll (It can’t be split by a specific note value) - No AU version - No audio channel outputs - Automation is mysterious and limited. (Can’t map to a controller? Is it using CC’s?) - Can’t record audio loops. (Which would be fantastic for developing vocals, adding guitar or something else) It seems like the dev has not intention of adding to this app; so, I’m looking at other apps, but this is good for someone new to music production.
