please rectify.
What’s the point of paying for Nabu Casa Home Assistant Cloud if you can’t connect to it?! Entering the URL for my account and logging gets a spinning connection bar, then an error…
Dashboard resets the default every time app is updated. iOS widgets don’t work half the time, half to kill the app frequently when it freezes.
really amazing app, extremely powerful and ever improving
Home assistant offers the ability to automate and centralize home controls. A+
Keeps trying to reconnect
I’ve been using HA for several years now, and I can’t imagine my life without it. I started in an apartment with mostly just lights and some environmental sensors that I build with ESP8266 microcontrollers. A few years ago I moved into a house and I’ve been slowly but surely converting everything with a switch or knob. While HA definitely has a learning curve and requires a separate server, the possibilities are near endless. Beyond just giving you a digital dashboard for your switches, HA supports powerful automations to build an actual smart home, rather than just a home with a bunch of apps. In the past year or two, the team has really been ramping up some nice new features and polish, from local voice assistants to several dashboard designers improvements, HA just keeps getting better! I’ve run HA many ways. From direct install, to docker containers, to most recently an HAOS VM in Proxmox. They also offer hardware if building it yourself isn’t for you!
Gives you the control that home assistant offers but on your phone. Regular updates, included adding of features on a routine basis. Much better than the other home automation services out there.
