We bought a Bosch dishwasher 21 years ago and it died so it was easy to choose another Bosch. However the old one had a light on the control panel that illuminated when the dishes inside were clean and that was very useful although it turned off when you closed the door. Now we have an app that lets you control it from your phone but that is marginal useful and the light was eliminated to save 50 cents. The app may have cycle history but I can’t find it. Everything is getting too complicated and common sense is eliminated.

Pretty sa that after an app update it doesn’t remember the user and I have to Sort out the login again. Doesn’t explain what is machine care, and seems to take forever to Recognize that salt was added without letting me tell it directly. The app SHOULD make it easier to control and understand what the dishwasher wants you r s doing, not just be similar/same interface. Pretty much blew it with having the app be smart

We got a $15,000 Thermador fridge delivered to our house with smart connectivity function that works with this app. Unfortunately, despite reaching out to the customer service center, to the IT support, to our vendor, and the chat function, nobody was able to connect the device to our app. As advised, I downloaded the app several times, tried different mobile devices, and all kinds of tricks. it does not connect. Finally, Bosch referred me to the service company that installed the fridge, they referred me back to Bosch. This is a totally useless experience. I will return the fridge and buy a subzero.

We’re using this on a Bosch dishwasher. You can remote start your dishwasher and tell it what preferences you have (clean, quiet, etc.). Also allows you to turn on auto air for all cycles (of course!). I tried to use the tablet counter. Apparently the developer assumed there are no boxes of tablets that go beyond 100. Our boxes have 115! Therefore useless. I don’t like that you have to clear notifications. These should just expire. Who cares that your cycle was ready 3 days ago if you already ran more cycles. It goes without saying these should be of transient nature. Update: app keeps logging me out every 8 weeks or so. It’s very annoying.

We have a refrigerator and the app lets you see a few things remotely but is really limited feature wise and quite cumbersome to set up. A lot of hassle to get push notifications when someone leaves the door ajar, especially because the alerts don’t have the information you really need. I got a notice that our freezer temperature was higher than the set point, but there’s no way to see how warm it got (are we talking 6° or 50°?), whether the door was ajar at the time, or how long it took to get back to normal. One time our freezer’s temperature alarm went off. Like the front panel, the app lets me see the alarm. It doesn’t show me how warm it got, the current temperature, silence the alarm, or access any kind of diagnostic details which might tell me whether we need to do more than tightly seal the door (Bosch uses incredibly weak door seals which come loose very easily). It also doesn’t allow you to clear the alarm display in the app which is frustrating when you want to know whether the problem is still happening. The marketing alleged that there’s some remote diagnostic capabilities but the support people said there’s nothing they can see and all you can do is get a support technician to look at it.

No longer connects after latest update.

Why can’t I just connect to Bluetooth? Why does a dishwasher need my WiFi password? I have to depend on Bosch to make sure my home WiFi is secure? Maybe if it made things significantly easier, but c’mon. It’s a dishwasher. For me it is not worth the stress

Dishwasher is amazing, the app is complete garbage. It fails to find the dishwasher 9/10 tries, the one time its successful the app crashes during authentication….every time. Been trying for over two weeks and same result. Was hoping update would fix it but no. Running latest iOS and app versions.

I just downloaded the app to use with my new thermador appliances. Looked at reviews just after I downloaded. The responses to complaints were all the same canned response. I won’t be using app/I have a low tolerance for apps that are fiddly. I’ll try app in a year or so if reviews improve.
