So many problems where do I begin
I purchased 2 tickets for 120hours each on the website. I tried to transfer 1 ticket to my wife on the app. The app instead removed both tickets from my app. Now none of them appear on my app and it shows the same ticket twice on my wife’s app. So we have completely lost 1 of our tickets that we paid over $120 for. Please fix this or refund 1 of my tickets.
Also, I was never provided a confirmation email. Luckily I took a picture of the confirmation number before I closed out the screen. So make sure you screenshot the confirmation number before closing the screen. This happened to my friend as well.
In addition the QR codes they provided do not work properly and rarely scan on the metro. They took almost 3 minutes each to scan at the Rijks museum.
Bit of a scam
Ended up paying for some museums & buses which did not accept. Don’t recommend. Pay out of pocket instead.
Caveat: if you really spend time planning, it might work.
Deleted card
This app was working fine until I had to transfer a card to another device. I had 4 cards in total and I transferred ONLY 1, and it deleted one card off the main device which left me with 2 left WHEN I SHOULD HAVE 3 left. There is no direct customer support open right now and this is now ruining my trip here. This is ridiculous. GET the physical card to make sure you don’t run into any issues.
Missing trains because the app takes too long to load the ticket
The app needs a more reliable way of producing tickets for the metro. I’m missing the trains because it takes so long to load!
Update: This card has been more of an inconvenience than anything. I wish I would have never bought it and just paid tap-to-pay on everything. It would have been more convenient and cheaper.
Complete waste of money, avoid this app based card!
Currently broken
Does not work on public transport. SSL certificate for in-app links is 1 month expired.
Doesn’t work!
This app is trash. After paying for a card the app won’t activate it. It gives me a message saying “check your internet connection” even when I’m connected.
Waste of money
I looked into this and, at first, it seemed like a good idea. Turned out to be virtually useless. It’s not entirely clear HOW to use it as most reservations are not online. In many cases, there was no way to submit the card for discounts or reservations.
I would not recommend.
Lost access to cards after purchase through app
Likely better off using the physical cards. Lost access to two cards worth 170 euros with no clear way to request refund. App simply states that the cards have already been added to a device.

I had an issue not receiving the email but went to physical store and they took care of it.
Mobile application does not work
I purchased my city card on the website and when I got my card number to add to the mobile application it does not recognize the number and will not allow me to add a card that I’ve already paid for.
