Many features missing
Sometimes all annotations I made get moved around the page or are missing when opening the app.
I have to reopen the PDF in Acrobat if I actually want to be embed images, which is super tedious
I can’t draw a selection and move or copy just these parts.
Sometimes annotations aren’t exported when choosing to export as editable.
Using this app to draw mindmaps is just not enjoyable and I wish the drawing functions would be improved.
When I zoom out it exits the pen and separates the objects so I have to tap it, tap the eraser and then the pen to start writing again which stunts my workflow significantly
Overall this app is nothing I would’ve spent money on if I knew before.
Buggy, cant use
Says use default save location, but UI is bugged so I can’t. Pops up every minute, can’t use the app

Oh was habe ich das Programm geliebt und jedem empfohlen. Aber in der neusten Version bricht es pausenlos zusammen. Und ich meine wirklich pausenlos. Eine Seite bearbeiten, weiterscrollen - Zusammenbruch, Neu laden, warten, warten - Zusammenbruch. Und so geht das endlos. Verschwendete Lebenszeit.schade.
Eraser Barely usabel
Erasing is extremely complicated. A simple eraser like in good notes or in the standard Apple App is missing. Unfortunately unusable for me as I have to change annotations quite offen
Nonexistent Support
The update to iPadOS 16.3.1 broke functionalities of iAnnotate. This is unfortunate but can happen, so I wanted to report the problems.
Which I can not do, because I “do not own any products connected to the option”. I did log in with the Apple ID that is linked to my purchase of iAnnotate.
So right now Folia took my money, their product is currently unusable, and they claim I don’t own any of their products.
At this point in time 0/10, can’t recommend the full version.
Beste PDF - App ever
Funktioniert einwandfrei! Ganz besonders klasse und erwähnenswert ist: 1. Einmal zahlen und kein Abo notwendig für alle Funktionen, Preis-Leistung ist hervorragend! 2. Kein Abschöpfen von Daten, wie andere Apps die sogar noch mehr kosten! Faires umgehen mit den Usern wird immer seltener… Danke an die Entwickler!!!
Gut, aber es fehlt was Wichtiges (Bilder einfügen)
Es ist eine prima App.
Allerdings habe ich Probleme, Bilder in ein PDF einzufügen.
Nutze ich die vorgegebene Funktion, wird nur ein ICON eingefügt, klickt man dann dieses an, wird das Bild als Popup angezeigt. Ich kenne das von der Konkurrenz so, dass das Bild als gesamtes direkt auf der Seite erscheint. Ich finde keine Möglichkeit, das zu tun. Habe ich da was übersehen?
Inconvenient eraser
For some reason, there is no eraser „tool“ that one could get to by simply double-tapping the Apple Pencil 2. Instead, you have to click an icon. And even then, you only get to erase what‘s currently selected, i.e. previous markings need to be selected first before you can erase parts of them. Incredibly clunky. Sorry, that makes the app useless for commenting on pdfs, assuming you need to erase as much as I do.
