I cannot afford to pay the subscription but they let me listen to it in a limited way if it was less expensive maybe I would pay ! A discount for the older music lover with limited spending power❤️

Refreshingly easy to navigate to the stratosphere, where the Gods of classical music reside. Love this app!
Great choice of varied music
Nags for rating, against apple terms. When will devs learn? 1*
This platform is expensive and has not worked for days. No messages to explain. Is this the end of IDAGIO??
It’s weakness has always been poor support. Probably too few people.
As a long-time Apple user, and a long-time Idagio user, I was curious to see how Apple Classical measured up. The signs weren’t good. Almost all the initial reviews were from tech mags, and were of the Oh, wow, awesome school. It was clear that the reviewers knew very little about classical music and had no real idea of the problems it poses in terms of organisation, metadata, multiple versions, naming… What’s more, most of the reviewers seemed to be think there has been a huge gap in the market for a classical music app. Sure, they had heard of Primephonic (but possibly never used it) but almost none of them mentioned that Idagio has been around for a while, and has cracked the problems. And is available for iPad. And allows offline listening. Anyway, I’ve tried the Apple offering now, and I’ve erased it. Even if Apple can make it as good as Idagio, what’s the point? Idagio is pretty much perfect.
Feels much more like Primephonic in comparison to other streaming services including Apple Classical (which currently feels just an extension of Apple Music). I found Primephonic to have just the right balance and IDAGIO dies this and more for me. So much so I have abandoned Apple and now a full subscriber to IDAGIO. Spotify covers the rest.
IDAGIO is a wonderful resource. Much, much better than Apple; larger collection and easier to use. Very pleased with it.
Throughout the trial period, I have been suitably impressed by the range and quality of the music on this service. The application is intuitive and quite simple to navigate. Unfortunately, due to my inability to purchase a subscription, I shall not be subscribing to this service. I shall certainly endeavour to do so when I have secured sufficient funds. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in this genre and sub genres of music.
