This is the best solution
Reinstall if you have any issues, that worked for me. I am very glad I found this service. Take some time and read up on what you can do, i am going to sync my phone and PC, but am going to use an external hard drive to upload archives and then will delete from the drive. Being an external drive, I won't have to worry about accidentally doing an archive cleanup. I might delete pic and vids off of phone now that it is backed up, then I can back my phone up to my computer, move the file to my archive drive and store on iDrive. Then restore on phone. Also intrigued by timeline where all photos from all devices are viewable in one place. That's cutting edge.
