iNethack2 is an iOS port of Nethack 3.6.6.
Original port in 2009 by Dirk Zimmermann which was called iNethack.
Updated by Jeff King to work on modern devices, and renamed iNethack2.
Initial 3.6 update by Joe Doucette.
Various other contributions from the open source community.

iNethack2 features:
· 8 graphical tilesets (plus IBMGraphics mode, and regular ASCII mode in color and monochrome)
· Touchscreen gesture controls: swipe to pan, pinch to zoom
· Customizable keyboard shortcut controls
· Hearse (bones file sharing) integration
· Works on iOS12+

Best port ever, perfectly playable

There are still a few minor things: You don’t see the wands effects or explosions. Maybe there’s a setting somewhere. The upstairs and downstairs in the Chozo tile set are the same icon and that makes it difficult to use. Previous versions I had some crashes, started back at the beginning of the level which was fine. Thank you so much!

Une excellente adaptation

Parfaitement conforme au jeu original. N’oubliez pas d’aller dans les settings pour mettre un tileset qui vous plaît. Oui ça reste moche comme le jeu original. Une seule critique: le double tap pour avancer rapidement est une fausse bonne idée: il peut te faire mourir si un monstre apparaît entre les deux taps (c'est du vécu). Sinon topissime.

Too buggy, not worth wasting your time

I get lots of unrecoverable crashes and my best games were always ended abruptly : "You were trickled" and that is extremely frustrating. Less annoying bug: dropping counted quantities must be done separately of other non counted quantities (i.e. cannot drop all tins and one of two eggs in the same turn). It would be great if these crashes and the tricklery bugs could be fixed. Upgrading to NH 3.6 would be greatly appreciated. iPad 3/4 on iOS 7, iPhone 7 on iOS 10.

Otherwise keep the good work. Final a version working smoothly on ios9.

N'importe quoi

Je ne sais pas si c'est un bug ou si le jeu est vraiment comme ça, mais je joue un @ qui se déplace sur un décor horriblement moche suivi d'un logo étranger et parfois attaqué par un smiley bisou...
