Great articles, impartial, regularly updated

Impossible website

I’m going around and around, identifying squares with buses and so on, and getting nowhere. Then asked to give my password. What password?

Good but...

I like the app and the bitesized chunks of news, and have taken out a years subscription, albeit on offer, however it forces you to rate the app, every time you come out of an article it says "are you enjoying the app", I clicked the not now option as I wasn't ready to rate it, and this happens after every article. I don't like having to rate apps before I'm ready to so hopefully rating it stops this annoying popup

Good content but not as user friendly as I’d hoped

We’ve been in the habit of buying the i two or three times a week, as well as subscribing to another newspaper. When my subscription ended and there was a big increase in price I thought I’d give the i digital a try, with an introductory offer. Whilst the content is good I’m finding the app better on iphone than iPad where there is a lot of unused screen so even the headlines are small. I like the range of puzzles (though really miss the ones in the newspaper like Mensa, minesweeper and others). My colour blind husband is absolutely unable to play Guessword as he can’t distinguish the colours. I’d like more subsections for the headers too - for example the ‘Life and More’ is so varied it seems a bit of a hotch potch of things that don’t fit anywhere else.

Really easy to use!

Disappointing, bargain basement app

Disappointed with my first look at The I Newspaper app. PDF newspaper or a narrow-panel display for the home screen and on-line news on the iPad. Feels clunky. Also surprised at the lack of content in the paper; hopefully more in the weekend editions.

Customise

Tried this morning to attempt to read up on last night Taylor versus Catterall fight, not a mention of it in the sport anywhere, which as a follower of boxing made me think I would probably not be getting the boxing news and updates that I would wish to see. I've looked at a way to customise my subjects/topics , but doesn't appear to be anywhere, unless I am missing something? The main news layout and information on first glance does look very good,

i review

Just switched to the i after many years with The Guardian . Am much prefering the editorial and tbh more independent reporting The interface is really user friendly Should have done this ages ago ! Oh and the crosswords are great 👍🏻

The i journalists are excellent!

I read the i newspaper and the i on-line as well. As a result I feel well-informed on National and global matters and thoroughly satisfied. Thank you for what is always a good read!
