Works with the camera, which is what it needs to do. I could do without the constant bombardment of offers and deals every time I run it, though. Disappointed that “Sign in with Apple” doesn’t work correctly, wanted me to enter another email address after. Huh? Tip: If you’ve ever wondered why its battery drains even on standby, it seems the camera is always listening for a connection from the app... you don’t need to turn it on to connect.
Really good app, easy to use and very complete, I love it. Never crashed on my iPhone. Also the costumer service is very helpful and gives answers fast. For a future version I would like to see the possibility to store my raw footage in the icloud.
It crashes several times when trying to get each HDR photo from the camera to my phone (local). Crashes consistently when trying to play local videos to determine edit points. Not helpful in getting media off the phone onto the Mac to use in tours. All in all, a ridiculous workflow that hasn’t been designed with the user in mind. Additionally, Insta360 have been poor at responding to many email requests to get a returns number for a repair to the camera itself. Very much not impressed with Insta360 at this point. Will the software improve...?
Insta360, please offer screen rotation (and landscape) workflow on the iPad app. ‘Portrait only’ is frustratingly awkward on the iPad. Other than that, brilliant app.
Just got this as an early Christmas present and I love it! The camera itself is incredible and I give 10/10 but the app is awful. It keeps crashing and won’t let me connect the camera to my iPad. Please test your app before releasing it.
Stories instantly crashes my iPad.
Don’t download this until they fix the new update, it worked perfectly well before now it crashes, especially if I try to use the new stories featur
I’ve just downloaded the latest app update (V2.0.0) and it instantly closes the app every single time I click on the “Create a new project” icon in the Stories Editor. Please sort this as soon as possible. (I am using an 11” iPad Pro with iPadOS 13.2.3.)
It is odd and disappointing that the Nano app has gyro viewing (or turn the phone to look around the image or video) but the One X app has only binocular VR view.
Obvious....everytime I open the app I have to login to my account again - everytime - please keep me logged in Super annoying, other than that I’m happy but please let us choose to stay logged in or give us the option to log back out DO NOT keep it like it is
