Invaluable Reviews

Filtering

There is no way to filter or block certain auction houses while doing a search. I’m plagued by certain auction houses offering insane amounts of the same items virtually every time I do a search. I now use Proxibid because they offer this filtering feature.

Searching for anything is like pulling teeth.

Agrovater on

This was pointless. The search bar literally yields zero results for what you’re looking for. It is an utter mystery to me how this garbage has 5 stars. It quite literally doesn’t work?!

We’ll see

Registered in App? Check. Valid credit card? Check. Registered to bid in specific auction? Check. Highest bid submitted? Check. Bid submitted well before end of auction? Check. So I must’ve won the item, right? Nope. Still waiting to hear back from the overwhelmed tech support staff.

Use an alternative to Invaluable!

TG Johnson on

United States

I have purchased items using Invaluable and never had an issue until last week. I mistakenly chose not to bid through the auction house website and chose to use Invaluable because of the simplicity. However, it backfired on me in a terrible way and it lost the item that I really wanted. My proxy maximum bid was 3X what the item sold for. For some reason, Invaluable failed to bid in accordance with my authorization even though I had placed the initial bid a week before the auction. I’m not sure what went wrong on their side, but it screwed me. now I use the app LiveAuction and it was very reliable today.

Money Grab Alert

No Regrets2 on

United States

Invaluable was once a great place to go for online auctions. Much like eBay one could follow auction lots, bid if desired, and then see the final sale price of the item when it closed. Invaluable now expects the average person to pay a monthly or annual subscription to see closed lot sales prices. This is a shameless money grab. Would you shop at a retail store that hides the price tags? You would not. I recommend avoiding Invaluable until they come to their senses.

Blindsided!

Are you trying to monetize the app from both the front end (listers) AND the back end (bidders)? Let’s see how long this lasts.

New subscription service is absurd

BrianSpruce21 on

United States

Invaluable used to be a great place to bid on items and track the value of things you were interested, but not anymore! There’s a progressive subscription service you have to pay for to see what past lots have sold for, and to see all of them you have to pay, get this, $2000 per year. What a joke. Definitely moving over to HiBid or Proxibid after this.

Very Deceiving Photos and Sellers

Reseller4443 on

I’ve purchased multiple lots from this app. Photos are misleading and description from sellers are not accurate or detailed. Starting bids above market value.

AVOID AMELIA JEFFERS AUCTION HOUSE

Rans B on

United States

AVOID AVOID AVOID. First of avoid Amelia Jeffers auction house. They never sent me an invoice for bids I won even with multiple messages on to them send me an invoice. It has been over a month and they still have not sent me an invoice. I then messaged Invaluable to look into this and it says these losers have put a UPI strike against my account for what and invaluable says there is nothing they can do. So this Auction house Amelia Jeffers ignored all my messages about my invoice for my won bids and then preceded to put a strike on my Account. Unbelievable. They tried to sell my bids for a high price but couldn’t and that could have explained why they never got back to me

A LOT OF SCAMMERS

Marco A.P. on

United States

This app does not protect you from Scammers. As a user you cannot review the Auction Houses unless the Auction House invites you to submit a review (which is to the convenience of the Auction House). WHAT A DISSAPOINTMENT!
