Overpriced on subscription. Free version final surge will sync workouts to Apple Watch workouts now. Only reason I paid for this was for that function.

I want to export each gpx track to my Mac. email seems to be the only way to do that. If that was automatic that would be great. Other options could be AirDrop or export to an iPhone app.
Been having a problem getting it to show/record the distance for Cycling. Used to work. Shows distance for Running/Walking stuff but not anything to do with bikes. It at least is showing Pace which it wasn’t for a while. Would love to review it better once it’s fixed.
I have used this app for years it has everything I want in a running app but now it’s become unreliable and buggy. It is in desperate need of an update!
I recently came back to this app after not using it for several years. My major goal was to be able to track heart rate zones, and most importantly have those zones and their changes be announced audibly through my headphones. That way, I don't have to keep looking at the watch and this appears to be the only app I could find that does precisely that. Yes, the interface is greatly outdated and could use some work and yes, I had to do some fiddling to get it all to work but now it's working perfectly. Only hope the developer gets motivated to update the whole thing sometime in the near future. after that, I'll give it five stars.
Hello! I have used iSmoothrun for a decade, at least. I have really appreciated the flexibility, functionality, export abilities, and device support. My phone apparently recently updated the app, and it has completely broken. The log only displays the most recent run, with no ability to go out to a list view; the single log entry doesn’t display splits or graphs; I’ve lost almost all of the settings, including the feedback form, which is why I’m leaving this as a review instead of contacting you another way. The only settings left on my phone are “audio” and “metronome”, with toggles for “GPS” and “auto pause.” The watch app (which is how I actually log my runs) seems to be mostly functioning as normal, although audio cues seem unstable (as they have for a while — inaudible volume regardless of volume set on phone, app, or watch). Please help! There really isn’t a great replacement for this app. Thanks!
Buying the app and then having limited features without paying for a subscription is not a good model. The app, fully functional, is worth the one time purchase. That said, there are much better apps that for less when factoring the perpetual subscription or the app’s limitations without the subscription.
I used this app for years and build dozens of customized workouts. Recently the audio has begun to glitch and my requests for support have gone unanswered. It can still track runs, but doesn’t give the feedback and pace coaching I loved.
I use this app with Polar heart rate and Stryd foot pod. I can’t remember when I first started using the app it has been such a long time. It works great and records all the stuff I want. It always works for me. I’ve used it in places with no cell service with no problems. I’ve used the watch app only and together with the phone. It loads data to Apple fitness. This is one of those apps I love because it always works for me. Polar can be a bit dodgy so I occasionally need to re- pair it. But that is a polar thing not this app. My only wish is bigger numbers as there seems to be some extra screen real estate since I can’t see the small stuff without reading glasses.
iSmoothRun website says current app version is 6.2.0 and there are no known bugs. Untrue. Notice all of the recent negative reviews of unresolved issues and bugs. No replies from the proprietor. Current version is 7.x.x something, as of this review. Used to be the best for structured automated workouts. Buyer beware! Over the last several years, the app has been buggy but work-arounds could be applied and the proprietor was accessible. Now, the app crashes on iWatch shortly after the start of a run. If watch + phone is used, it doesn’t crash. Thus defeating the apps usefulness. Reported issues are unread, let alone unresolved.
