This version has an issue with protocol server therefor it doesn't work anymore since last update.
Face ID doesn’t work
iPhone XR, iOS 12.3.1 — Face ID doesn’t work for saved passwords, constantly asks for PIN code — annoying. Touch ID on old 6s works.
