Tapbots have done an amazing job at refurbishing their battle-tested app (previously used on the bird site), which is now powering the new client for Mastodon. Years of learnings, tweaking and polishing inside this little app which feels smooth and feels right at home on the Mac and iOS. Bonus points for being a small, independent team who I am happy to support given the quality standards they have established.
