Much more than tweet bot early and it’s not like it’s twitter

This is much more than I paid for tweet bot a year and mastodon is even close to full scale yet. Plus I accidentally subbed this year and ask for a refund and not luck.

Better design than most clients

Everything feels intuitive and familiar and looks great. Great to see Tapbots found a way to pivot from the old bird site as we all look for a new home.

The real Mastodon experience

It’s not real Mastodon if it’s not from the Ivory app. It’s just sparkling Twitter.

My Favorite Way to Fediverse

Ivory is my favorite Mastodon client on iOS and iPadOS.

It’s OK with annoyances

It was good to try the app but I will not be renewing my subscription or continue using it beyond that. The app looks great. It feels better on the iPad than iPhone, I don’t like it on the Mac. The main annoyance is how the feed loads, it’s slow and have to keep tapping to get to the top, not the case with other apps. For what the app is, it’s way too expensive.

Super happy with this purchase! Go TAPBOTS! Also bring back ConvertBot!

Great, but only for Mastodon

Hands down the best Mastodon client I’ve used but worth noting that it does not support ActivityPub servers like GoToSocial and won’t even allow you to try to use them.

You can tell Ivory is professionally made app with great craftsmanship and attention to detail.

It was the bot I loved all along

since tweetbot 1, I had a window to the world that I controlled and curated. all these years later, I realize what I really loved this whole time was the work of Tapbots. Thank you for making an amazing Mastodon app!

The Best Mastodon App Out There

Ivory brings all the polish of Tweetbot (and more) to Mastodon. The subscription isn’t as cheap as Tweetbot’s was, but I suppose that makes sense given that there are fewer Mastodon users than Twitter users, so the cost of maintaining the app is a bit higher per-customer. Either way, $20 a year is very affordable and I’m happy to support an excellent developer like Tapbots. Highly recommended!
