Jaybird FAQ
Is Jaybird free?
Yes, Jaybird is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Jaybird legit?
🤔 The Jaybird app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
Connection to the phone is fine and working, or shows in phone settings > Bluetooth But never shows in app. Also playing music right now to the buds, but does the app pick it up? Never. You have to forget the device and make a fresh connect every single time just to be able to use the Jaybird app. Learn. To. Code. Seems Jaybird don’t care. This app doesn’t work. This app is totally useless and frustrating to use. Even if my buds are connected in Bluetooth settings there is no way for the app to recognise and have them connected in the app. Totally useless app. I’ll never buy Jaybird again after 3rd set of vista 2 have failed.
This is a useless app. You can’t find your earbuds with it. What is the lost feature for if you it won’t find your buds in your own home!?
No longer supported
App unable to open on the latest on IOS 17.2.1. Constantly crashes. Love my Jaybird Vista 2s but no longer supported and app not updated for more than 1 year. Disappointing.

👌very very good!
Good App
Easy to use, it's got find my buds which has saved me once
Great app for awesome earbuds
My best tech purchase in late 2019 continues to deliver during COVID-19.
From being my favourite Bluetooth headset for music and podcasts it is now my go to for all the social distancing video conferences and internet calls I am doing. Crystal clear music and voices on calls topped off with a microphone that delivers my content to my clients and colleagues. The app is the icing on the cake. Well deserved 5 stars.
Frustrating
This app doesn't update like normal applications by providing a wireless sync to firmware via app uodates.
Frustratingly you have to pretend it's the 90s and connect Jaybird Runs via cable, to PC and download latest updates / firmware.
This app is further useless by the degree of difficulty in pairing with their own app and using the present EQ options.
Utter waste of time
Don’t upgrade your phone...
I had no issues using my jaybird runs with the app for nearly 2 years on the iPhone 6s I had but now I have upgraded finally the app no longer can “connect” to my earphones. The phone pairs perfectly via Bluetooth so this is an app issue, nothing on the discussion board helped me but I am evidently not the only one that is experiencing this! Without being able to control the sound using the app the earphones are very much not worth the money- very disappointing
Still can't pair my jaybird runs with my phone
Why can't I pair my headphones?
Vista Audio Controls
Thanks for updating the button controls to handle audio playback correctly. This is what we’ve been asking for since the RUN series. Good job.
Tarah Pro - Not a good start
I seem to be dealing with inconsistent drop outs whilst picking up calls, more so with calls via messenger.
They’re supposed to have 14hrs of charge but after having them on for 6hrs while at work the battery died. Following this, after having the headphones on charge over night, having them on for 10 minutes and taking ONE phone call they tell they’re at 80%. Huge fail !
Mine will be going back today for another pair and if not up to scratch I won’t bother with them. It’ll be back to Bose
Very disappointing considering the price
