Excellent app, few steps from perfection
What a brilliant flight app, really can’t fault it in many ways! Missing a few features though.
- Range Rings: Really useful for ETOPS alternate ranges/comparison plus for bingo fuel ranges
- Text vs Pen: Can’t always use Apple Pen on devices, so text on charts would make things much clearer for sure
- Pinch Ruler: Would be great that when you measure using the pinch ruler you could drop a marker pin at the end of the ruler to pint point where you’ve measured to for future reference/lat long finding.
Simply brilliant
Brilliant app. I’d love to be able to annotate the plates with a dedicated TEXT feature and not just pens.
Needs a newer model iPad but is then very very good
Anyone using this is a professional pilot on a company subscription. It needs a powerful iPad and a fair amount of storage but then runs very well. Quite a lot of improvements over the years have made this a great tool and I rate it very highly. Easy to use, nice layout and makes updates and downloading routes etc. very easy.
Complete rubbish
Why does it insist on updating all 16 manuals when only the terminal charts need updating?
Why does the turbulence and upper winds revert to a earlier report instead of the timeframe you’re in?
The whole thing is really clunky. Poor effort.
Pop up
Please remove the pop up saying to turn on “location service to determine location” every time you use the app. Highly annoying. Other than that it’s great
The slowest app I've used ever!
As above really, legacy company probably wrote the programme in house rather than paying "over the odds" to some geek to become electronic. It does work but ground an iPad mini 4 to a full stop! Obviously better than paper charts but so room for improvement! It’s also just so slow to update it fails to meet its purpose.
