Turkish package had very few options
I went through several English names and then paid for the Turkish package and it said I’d seen all of them 😠

More fun than functional. My spouse notified me of matches that aren’t listed in my app, and there is no way to troubleshoot it. Also, clicking a name on the liked list removes it from the list without a way of undoing or finding that name again. Turned into more trouble than it was worth.
The premise is great, but the names and functionality are not. The filter function doesn’t work, and I get both gendered names when I’ve specified one. Additionally, the names are not great. If the filters actually worked, and the name list could be set to perhaps “top 1000 us names” or “newly trending” or “unique” then it would be much more useful. We’ve gotten a few good laughs from the name slides — we’ve had fun, but not the productive kind of fun.
The standard names take about 5 minutes to go through and include mostly names like Matthew, Jennifer…. After that you have to pay for other sets of names. Used to have way more options for filtering types of names, but this is a waste of time now.
Was a good app until they started charging for you to choose names outside your country. Defeats the entire purpose of the app. I know the names in my country! So dumb.
Basically I flipped through every “free” name in about ten minutes. You can’t expect people to pay for something like this when baby name ideas are readily available everywhere online. I guess being able to “match” with your partner is an interesting premise but it’s completely useless when you’ve got such a tiny database of names. At least do something like introducing 50 new names to the app database daily. Something to keep folks coming back. Otherwise this app will be just another one of those things you download for the novelty, use it for a few minutes and then delete it. It’s unfortunate because it’s a neat idea. But I won’t be keeping it.
It was fun to use until I couldn’t flip through go any names anymore because you had to pay for all of them when they were previously free, and with no warning
Nous avons trouvé le nom de notre fille grâce a cette application! Je la recommande a tous
Such a great idea and I loved using it, but then my husband did it and got different names! How are we supposed to match if I didn’t even get the names he “liked”? Plus, it’s only good for like 10mins of swiping for free, then you have to pay...there are a lot of names out there in the world, you’d think the free version would take you a bit further at least.
Was an excellent and fun app until every name package now costs money when it used to be free.
