Useless to me
Update : Problems with dictionary lookup and copy have been fixed! Works perfect for me now ==== In the New versions the copy/paste function has been blocked. Since I use the reader to read books in foreign languages, I rely on the posibility to copy text into DeepL , Google translate etc. This is no longer possible, and it leaves me with tonns of books
Can no longer open books
Kobo on the ipad is no longer able to open anything. Glad I have a Kindle app!

Read it before it is too late - even though it is never really too late
An old friend seems a bit battered
I've been using the Kobo app for several years now. This latest version makes it very difficult to highlight or create notes, because the highlight keeps disappearing or moving to another place entirely. The dictionary doesn't seem to be as good as it used to be. App support from within the app is non-existent. Still, I need my Kobo app, because I like buying from Kobo.
Why No prices?
I love my Kobo reader and the apps are easy to use, but I find it confusing that I can’t get a price for the books, on the phone app.
Beware of dark UX patterns
Forget about the audiobooks, they require you to sign up with a credit card and then their subscriptions page is not available. No way to cancel it. Deactivated my account: app says subscription still active. Didn’t get a confirmation email. Avoid this company & app.

Do what I expected
Okay, but not the best reading app
The Reading funktion is okay, but the downloadning process is not. Have to do it more than once to get the cover and have other difficulties, which are not so easy to explain.
