It’s a good app, i liked it. But i don’t know why when i try to purchase the book that i wanted, it shows i only can download previews and after some chapters it’s locked and it says i have to purchase the book first but i couldn’t. And i don’t know how to do it. So.. maybe it’s only me but overall it’s a good app

It has good UI, but lacks good search for books - have to use web version. But in web book categories are not Verny useful, so have to browse for some interesting book for long time.

Amazing app! Very pretty and easy to use

The app is very nice looking, but i tried to figure out how to search and buy books for two evening... Then deleted app in search of alternatives... Btw i was suggested by the app to post something of Facebook hundred of times, developers, answer please, why the hell should i post something on Facebook if i don't even know how to download and search books??? Is this an unofficial Facebook client app?

1.8 million free books no. 286 free well that's a gift even If the way they sell it is a little misleading. Anyway to the point: I just downloaded this app and it looks slick, feels crisp But, and it is a big but.... There are no instructions of value to the first time user. Ridiculous, it took me 40 minutes to figure out how to get a new book, come on guys please. If you spend all that time developing a slick looking app and website and then develop integration with Facebook and twitter, well for crying out loud please. Take the time to write a how to use the basics of the app. Why the hell would I want to know how to share my reading habits on Facebook when I don't even know how to add a new book to the app? Think about your customers primary goal: to easily and quickly get a choice of book to read. So I am ultimately frustrated and looking for an alternative .

Does what it needs to. I'm happy to have the app for when my e-reader isnt nearby. Simple and easy to read from.

App is a joke. This is why people are driven back to Audible. Kobo is incompetent. Fire the iOS dev team. Drunk monkeys could write a better app. Great monthly price, $10CAD. But say you hear about a book on a podcast & you want to quickly grab it & start listening? Nah bruh. You can’t actually BUY BOOKS VIA THE APP. One gets a pop up basically saying “u can wish list or favorite but not buy”. Soooo, if you don’t have your kobo e reader or laptop on u, too bad. Sure, one could fire up mobile browser but that’s not the point. Not being able to quickly & efficiently buy and start listening to an audiobook in seconds VIA THE APP, is absolute CLOWN WORLD. Uninstalling after this and installing the audible app. Amazon wins again I suppose.

After writing a review about the poor syncing of this app, nothing has changed. I foolishly bought another e-book for this platform because it was less expensive, but paying more to read on Kindle or iBooks is more than adequately compensated by their far superior syncing utility. This used to be such a great app for reading and the ebook prices were good, but now highlights and annotations are disappearing, and bookmarks don’t always sync between devices. What happened? Why is this app so wonky now?

So complicated, so not intuitive, SO frustrating! I hate it!! I keep trying because Libby is only linked to Kobo - if only I could actually figure it out!!!

No dark mode icon, the page turn effect is broken in dark mode… the whole Koko app experience feels cheap and it’s frustrating.
