Komoot is very un forgiving if you press the wrong button while riding or if you stop your trip and try to restart It has a lot of good functions but it can be very frustrating as well I think it needs more work Cheers Reiner Brisbane , Australia
Having completed a trans Australia on my bike, I’m very happy Not to have followed the suggested route, there is more to bike touring than following the main car routes.
Sometimes it gets confused and tells me to turn one way then u turn where I could have just made a left or right in the first place Done not always communicate with the Garmin edge 1030 plus. I know it’s the free version but if this is free it’s not making want to spend more for features when the most basic requirement of a map is to give directions.

I like a lot about this and will probably use it, however… there seems to be a promotion to unlock a “region” for free, but I cant find any map or listing of regions I can unlock… and when I try to use the search for a location to set a region to unlock… the only option seems to be to buy all the regions. Couldnt find any UI to contact support, nothing in the help/support/faq to answer my query. If this is your app, contact me and tell me wth is going on with your promotion.
Trying to cancel subscription but will not let me
Hi, I’m trying to set up my account and it keeps telling me to setup the free region. When I follow the instructions on iOS and the web, there are no free regions. Very frustrating. Steve
Kamoot could be better at route planning it’s AI thinks it knows better and selects a direction that is far from ideal; not the way you would Like to go. And there’s no way to adjust this apart from scraping the entire route very frustrating to say the least.
