LastPass Authenticator offers effortless two-factor authentication for your LastPass account and other supported apps. With one-tap verification and secure cloud backup, LastPass Authenticator gives you all the security, without any of the frustration.
ADD MORE SECURITY
Safeguard your LastPass account by requiring two-factor authentication codes when signing in. Two-factor authentication improves your digital security by protecting your account with an additional login step. Even if your password is compromised, your account can’t be accessed without the two-factor authentication code.
You can even mark a device as “trusted”, so you won’t be prompted for codes on that device while your account remains protected by two-factor authentication.

LastPass Authenticator Reviews
A great help
It’s working very very well. Great job
Half-baked version 2
The recently introduced version 2 of this app was launched in a half-baked state. Some of the issues I’ve encountered:
– App lost the custom order of my (several dozens of) entries.
– Reordering entries is broken: the app has a drag-and-drop mode for reordering entries, but it forgets any changes literally as you scroll through it.
– App initially lost custom service and account names (since fixed).
– App lost the ability to search by service name (since fixed).
I haven’t encountered any issues with the app actually losing service entries, but the laundry list of issues doesn’t exactly instill confidence either.
Useless and frustrating!
Both LastPass and its Authenticator worked well for many years. But, Authenticator stops opening after every recent iOS update.
Apple says “delete app and redownload” but after latest update, you're trapped in an endlessly frustrating loop. LP won’t allow access until you use THEIR Authenticator, but it can only be turned on AFTER you're in LP - which is impossible! Alternate buttons to work around this do nothing.
The AI driven online LP “solutions” don’t work and you have to pay for an upgraded subscription for live support. LP no longer updates their app so I should buy a subscription so “live support” should read from a script? No thanks!
Crash iPad Pro M2
Whenever I open this on my iPad Pro it instantly crashes and says I need to restart, I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it keeps crashing, which is a shame because it works on my iPhone but I do need it on my iPad also
Login
Why am I going in circles to re-authenticate my account?
Unable to log in
This product used to be very straightforward now it’s a bit of a hassle. Sad
Bad
Terrible looking for a new ow manager
Password
Wants me to change my master password weekly
Does the job
Works well so far. I’m able to use this for 2 factor authentication. I get authentication codes like an rsa token as well as real time verification prompts (“is this you logging in?”) Setup had a few hiccups but it works!
