LastPass Authenticator

1. Push notifications are supported for very few websites. 2. No support for wearables like Apple watch, this just makes the experience so dependent on the phone. Let the phone charge man! 3. Sync across devices is not great. Sometimes new auths added on one device don’t appear in the others until I reinstall the app. All in all, I’m probably gonna switch to Authy or Microsoft Authenticator when I finally muster the energy.

Everything good about this app. Except for the missing search functionality. Would also be good to have a grouping/label/profile system or something of that sort to separate work and personal stuff etc.

You should absolutely download this authentication app over any other. No more saving screenshots of 2fa backup codes. Ive been using this app for over a year now and its the most simple & best 2fa.

As a Lastpass User, it’s the goto app for my 2FA prompts but I think it'd be better if there’s some UI tweaking around or to include some option for another layout other than a simple list.

Over the years, I’ve been struggling to search for 2FA apps that also backup the codes for all websites. After opting for LastPass premium since two years, they have, in a certain way, solved a lot of passwords-backup and 2FA solutions for me. This app is one among them. A good thing is, it syncs to your LastPass account and also works in the free-tier.

Most social and storage apps like gmail, Dropbox etc uses to Authenticate for 2nd level ownership verification This does that easily

I'm running iOS 9.2 on iPhone 6 plus. When I try to scan the on screen bar code from within the app, it crashes. Camera settings have been enabled. Not usable.

Both LastPass and its Authenticator worked well for many years. But, Authenticator stops opening after every recent iOS update. Apple says “delete app and redownload” but after latest update, you're trapped in an endlessly frustrating loop. LP won’t allow access until you use THEIR Authenticator, but it can only be turned on AFTER you're in LP - which is impossible! Alternate buttons to work around this do nothing. The AI driven online LP “solutions” don’t work and you have to pay for an upgraded subscription for live support. LP no longer updates their app so I should buy a subscription so “live support” should read from a script? No thanks!
