I really liked this app and would rate it a 5/5 if not for certain kanji (non-compound) the reading - which is usually in hiragana - just appears as a blank empty space:/ this makes the whole study pointless if you just have to click the only reading that is blank as the answer and also never get to know how it is read:/
Eigentlich sind diese Apps ganz toll, sehr lehr- und hilfreich. Leider funktionieren Sie auf dem iMac mit M1 Prozessor seit über einer Woche nach den letzten Updates nicht mehr. Jetzt erscheint nach den Updates nur noch ein schwarzer Bildschirm. Auf iPhone und iPad funktioniert funktioniert es. Dies betrifft diese App sowie Learn Japanase! and learn Hangul! Deshalb nur 3 Sterne. Liebe Entwickler, bringen Sie dies bitte wieder in Ordnung, danke.
This app is really useful and functional but it would be great to have a French version for the French native speaker.
Super complete app. Finally an app that is worth paying. It is definitely a great tool to learn kanjis. From IPad to sheet, your hand really gets used to it and you’ll feel like this is magic. I strongly recommend this app.

Actually it deserves 5 stars despite the caveats below. And I fully recommend it. The way it takes you through levels is very good. Words you don't know keep popping up. It has a very clean design which I appreciate having gone through many other apps of similar purpose. I use it every day on my commute. What I miss is a list to study some of the hard words more systematically. And the other issue that all apps show is you work off an option list of 4 words to pick from. If I don't know the word I get to the right answer through exclusion...
