MASTER EVERY MOMENT
Dynamic, alternating gameplay means you can always react and counter, but so can your opponent. Choose from dozens of champion cards to include in your deck, each with a different mechanic inspired by their original League of Legends abilities.
Champions enter the battle as powerful cards, and if you play smart, they level up to become even more epic. Level your champions multiple times in-game, and earn Champion Mastery crests the more you play.

Every champion and ally in the game comes from a region of Runeterra. You have access to cards from nine regions: Demacia, Noxus, Freljord, Piltover & Zaun, Ionia, Targon, Shurima, the Shadow Isles, and Bandle City.
Explore how different champions and regions work together to give you unique advantages against your opponents. Combine, adapt, and experiment with frequent new releases in an always-evolving meta.
CHOOSE YOUR PATH
In PvE, each choice you make shapes your journey. React to unique encounters, earn and equip power-ups, unlock new champions, and rise to new challenges as you move across the map. The enemies will get stronger, but so will you—and you’ll discover different endings the more you play.
PLAY TO WIN, NOT PAY TO WIN
Earn cards for free, or buy exactly what you want with shards and wildcards—you’re in control of your collection, and you’ll never pay for random packs of cards. While there’s always the option to purchase specific champions, you can easily complete your collection without spending a cent.
Victory or defeat, each battle brings experience and progress. Choose which region you explore first and unlock the cards that call to you, changing regions as often as you like. As you advance, you’ll collect new allies, spells, and champions.
Once a week, you’ll also unlock chests from the Vault. These chests level up the more you play, increasing the rarity of cards inside from common all the way up to champion. They can also contain wildcards, which can be turned into any card you want—no guessing required.
DRAFT AND ADAPT
Labs are limited-time experimental game modes focused on more extreme changes to the classic Legends of Runeterra formula. Choose a premade deck with specific constraints, or bring your own. CLIMB THE RANKS
At the end of every season, 1024 qualifying Ranked players on each of LoR’s four regional shards (Americas, Asia, Europe, and Southeast Asia) will be able to compete for pride, glory, and a cash prize in the seasonal tournament.
But Ranked play isn’t the only way to qualify—you can also run the Last Chance Gauntlet. Gauntlets are limited-time competitive modes with unique rules to play around and exclusive rewards to unlock.

Can’t play on ipad!
Not sure if im the only one experiencing it but it has been months now and the game wont load on my ipad. It is stuck on the main screen with a blank canvass with the bgm running. Reported it already but they said it could be a device issue but then i saw comments on reddit that they are also experiencing the same! Guess the budget was really cut out for this bug to be fixed! Uninstalled the only game and the utmost reason i bought an ipad. What a shame as i am a huge POC player! Not really fond of playing on mobile as the screen is to small. Really sad this is how it goes!
Path of champions doesnt fully load
Starting a new path f champions on ipad doesnt fully load, only goes to half thus I cant start any game

I just got back to playing this game again and still had awesome
gameplay, more and improved, pretty good strategy game, skill ceiling is high, definitely not pay to win, these gonna be the golden age of LoR.

The new patch is not working.
Begrudgingly installing again after the sad news
LoR has been a part of every day in my life in the past few years. Still angry at the news but I decided after uninstalling the game for a week, I’ll just make the most out of the remaining months before the lights go out. I love this game so much, I just wish Riot marketed it more and made an actual effort to make it profitable.

Easy to Learn, Completely Free to Play
Riot Games is transporting their League of Legends champions (plus more) in this digital card game formed with the idea of answerable moves, i.e. both players can play every round/turn. It’s a physically beautiful game that’s easy to learn, and free to play. The more you play, the more cards you get access to. In about a month, anyone can complete their collection.
There’s a PVP and a PVE option. Players who, like me, love to create decks and test it out against others’ out there, PVP is the way to go. For roadmap and adventure guys, explore the lore of League of Legends while battling it out with its world’s inhabitants in PVE mode.
Balance patches are regular and effective so the game refreshes anew every now and then. Maintenance is not a problem so you don’t have to miss days when you want to play. You’ll need network connection for this one, but it’s sure great to get to play when there’s internet.
