The app often fails to deliver its sole purpose, the connection to its overpriced camera. I have been using Leica Q3 for 6 months and have to say this app and its junky firmware really made me frustrated. If you can not develop a simple app for connecting something called Bluetooth (invented 30 years ago) to your camera, just sell your company and do something else, really.
My Leica M11 can connect with Leica Fotos but fails to preview and download photos. Removing and re-pairing the camera with the app don’t resolve this issue. Even connecting via the cable doesn’t work. My iOS and Leica FOTOS are all currently updated. Really need help to figure it out. Thanks
Yesterday (13/6/2022) I can normally import my photos from leica Q using Leica foto apps, but after i updated to ios 15.5 on 13/6/2022 automatically while im sleeping, the app seems to be unusable, it always show “no photos found” but still can remote the camera. Please suggest me what to do and resolve it asap. Thx
A lot of the time i find the camera just froze and had to reload everything again.
Slow connection. And when it connect already, it’s always lost connection it a short period of times. Normally connect just only 2-4 minutes then lost connection. Have to reconnect almost every 4-5 minutes.

Slow app, and slow at solving problems, too slow just to be honest using Leica sl2 since 2019 ~ 2021 with the app very very slow in all functionality, if your going to buy Leica, for newbies to be honest it’s a just high end good looking design showing off camera in Instagram , do not think cause you’ve paid that much off amount of money and you’ll get that magic functionality you thought off, or more better product service than other brand, fast feedback , fast problem solving etc, they are already very proud of their brand positioning already, head strong on their history and design so if you can take all that go for it, cause I’ve never knew it was going to be that much off exhaustion, but gotta still use it I’ve paid it already 😓hope this helps others.
